Doctor Who: The Giggle (2023)
Allons-y!!!
One of the best episodes of Dr Who I think I've watched ever.
Neil Patrick Harris was fantastic as the toymaker and played his role perfectly!!
The build up throughout the episode was brilliant, we knew that David was going to regenerate but i didn't at all the Bi regeneration being what was going to happen.
Nucti's energy is fantastic and I know he's going to be brilliant Dr!
The best part of the episode for me was seeing David's Dr finally getting his rest and to be part of a proper family but best of all he got to do it with Donna Noble.
The gold tooth?? It's most definitely a return of the master but will this be an old face returning?
Russell T Davies has brought this show back to life!!
Cruella (2021)
Devilishly good!!
Emma stone was born to play Cruella, She was brilliant!
I watched 101 Dalmatians as a child, but when you see this prequel, it shows how sad Cruella's backstory really was. It made the madness of her character all the more believable.
I'm looking forward to see what else will be in-store for Cruella.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
Devilishly Good!
I have loved the conjuring movies from the very beginning! This one takes the Warren's down a different route entirely and I really loved it! I think for me that it was because there was so much more to the story this time that the others.
Definitely worth watching.
Army of the Dead (2021)
What in hell was that?
I honestly thought that this was going to be an awesome movie especially because Zack Snyder was directing.
It missed it's potential so much, not only that there were plot holes which were driving me nuts!!!!
Definitely could have been better and it was way too long for what it was....
Doctor Who: Revolution of the Daleks (2021)
Get Chibnall out!
I've been waiting patiently for the doctor to hit the screen once more.
At the start Jodie's performance was good and added to that even more when John Barrowman appeared.
The cinematic element to the show now definitely feels and looks so much better, but I can't help but feel that the story seemed to be regurgitated from before.
If I'm being honest it didn't get me excited at to watch, overall I found it very "Meh"!
Hopefully the new year will bring some better stories for the Doctor or I fear the show may not last much longer
The Haunting of Bly Manor: The Altar of the Dead (2020)
My heart!
T'nia Miller was outstanding! This episode left me confused intentionally and as it progressed it pulled on my heart strings! Hannah is my favourite character without a doubt.
If you did not feel something from this episode, watch it again. I was stupid crying at the TV when that moment came!
The Haunting of Bly Manor: The Pupil (2020)
The Apothecary
Please tell me that I'm not the only one noticing the Apothecary placing himself around the house in multiple scenes?
It's a slow burning episode but with the perfect suspense and scares!
Definitely shaping up to be a good story
The Haunting of Bly Manor: The Great Good Place (2020)
The atmosphere!
I enjoyed episode because it layed out good grounds for the series ahead. I'm an avid horro fan but this made me feel very uneasy as soon as we were introduced to Bly manor! I'm looking forward to see how the story unfolds
Killing Eve: Slowly Slowly Catchy Monkey (2020)
Things are going to heat up!
After the disappointing end to the last season, the first episode has set up a great story arc for Fiona Shaw, a women who now has nothing to lose. Good luck whoever killed Kenny
A Fall from Grace (2020)
Well I enjoyed it
Regardless of the rest of the reviews I enjoyed this movie from start to finish!
I expected nothing less from Tyler Perry and to me he delivered
Doctor Who: Fugitive of the Judoon (2020)
Finally!!
I know for the fact that they threw a completely new doctor into the mixed has everyone confused but the show is starting to feel how it used to all those years ago.
A storyline that isn't easily figured out like some of the recent episodes that were being thrown out.
Throwing the curve balls in and bringing back Jack made this episode great, I can't wait to see where this leads and I hope it only gets better!
Dead to Me: You Have to Go (2019)
Definitely Binge worthy!
I wasn't sure how this was going to be, once I started I was absolutely hooked! The comedic element were great but the dark side got me hooked!!! Season 2 better hurry up!
The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
Tastefully brilliant! Hidden faces?
This is by far one of the best horrors shows that I have seen in a long time! Great depth to the story. Please tell me I haven't been the only one to notice the subtle peering faces throughout every episode? Blink and you'll miss them, see them and you can't unsee them lol
