The Test: A New Era for Australia's Team: Fearless (2020)
Incredible
A brilliant episode, my only complaint is that the world cup is without a doubt the pinnacle of cricket. Not the ashes, not border-gavaskar, not the WTC, not the T20WC. The one day world cup is the most important part in world cricket. And for something so huge, to brush over the whole thing in one episode was disappointing seeing how the ashes gets two episodes, and b-g trophy gets 2 as well. The world cup should have quite frankly got 3 episodes. Anyway, aside from that this was really well done. From seeing Smith and Warner return and how that was navigated to seeing the journey backstage in Australias attempt to claim a world cup. Still one of the best episodes of the series.
The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun (2021)
Well done but an absolute snooze fest
Very avante garde kind of film, if your not a fan of that I wouldn't recommend. It was very well done, cast was excellent but was an absolute snooze fest.
Dhoom:3 (2013)
Great action packed film - overhated and unfairly rated
I understand the negative reviews, but I think we should treat this movie as it is. I mean for god sake the title is called "Dhoom 3", already implying comedic action. This isn't The Dark Knight or The Godfather, this is a fun, action-packed, unrealistic, cop and robber movie. Treat it like that, and rate it accordingly, not like it's an Oscar winning movie. I thought the sequences were great, the fight scenes were great and the use of modern technology was excellent. Aamir Khan was brilliant as always. The twist may have been copied but it was still excellent. Here are my negatives - I feel like this was not a Dhoom movie, meaning that it didn't feel like the first two. Here's why: the elements of circus and revenge didn't really fit in with the usual elements of Dhoom. Most of the focus was on Aamir Khan, understandable but Jay and especially Ali's comedy are essential parts of what made this franchise so fun. Lastly, Jai was off, he was very stubborn and aggressive which is strange as he let Mr. A go free in Dhoom 2. Overall I thought it was a great movie but just if they added some of the previous elements from
the first two films and added some more Jay and Ali and removed some of the circus stuff it would have been perfect. Movie went on a bit long as well but it's Bollywood what can you expect. Overall 8.5/10 but giving it a 10 to boost the rating.
The Flash: Marathon (2020)
I see Diggle I rate 10
I love John Diggle. That's all I have to say. Iris stuff was eh but Dig. Flipping Dig.
Arrow: Spartan (2019)
It's not meant to be about Oliver
For everyone complaining, this is not meant to be about Oliver. We've had 7 seasons about him and Season 8 is also mainly about him. But with S7 being the last normal season I'm sure the writers wanted to make some tribute episodes to some of Arrows greatest characters. One for the women of Team Arrow and one for John Diggle. Yes, these episodes weren't fantastic but i see no problem in the actual idea of them being there, it's a great way to show respect for the other characters
Arrow: Lian Yu (2017)
FOKIN SPECTACULAR
That's all I need to say. Greatest episode ever. 11/10.
Arrow: Underneath (2017)
Fantastic
I loved this episode - it was something different, something new and a nice refresh. I haven't been a fan of Felicity since S3 but this epsiode really helped her regain my appreciation. The comedy was fantastic and Olicity is back. The escape sequences were also very well done. John and Lyla beef was eh but still appreciated. I think this epsiode helped us put an end to non stop relationship drama and gave us a fresh breath of new air as we tried something new. 10/10.
Arrow: Beyond Redemption (2015)
Paul Blackthorne is outstanidng
Season 4 was awful, but as I'm rewatching this series this start of this Season was honestly really good. This episode was amazing, with the new Team Arrow cave, Ollie and Dig not being at each other's throats and of course the fantastic acting by Blackthorne in the scene with Oliver and the scene when he was going to kill Sara. This episode is a solid 9/10 but I'm rating it 10 as I believe the 8.2 rating is far too low.
Arrow: Uprising (2015)
Decent episode, show is going downhill
Felicity Is really starting to piss me off, that's all I have to say
Arrow: Unthinkable (2014)
Phenomenal 11/10
One of the greatest episodes of Arrow including S1 E23, S3 E9, S5 E23, S7 E7 and S8 E8. Thrilling from start to finish.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
A masterpiece
Not many things deserve the title of a masterpiece but this does. The moment you-know-who boards the ship I was struggling to believe my own eyes. A phenomenal end to a fantastic series. The best Star Wars has ever done, is this. 11/10
Riverdale: Chapter Seventy-Three: The Locked Room (2020)
Brilliant episode, from a great season, some negatives to be addressed however, but awesome overall
Absolutely fantastic! Everything was great, was very happy to have an episode that was just one storyline and really enjoyed the making sense of all the flashbacks as I and many others were irritated at the reaction of B, V and A after the "death" of Jug. I personally have really enjoyed Season 4 and aside from the butchering of the Edgar Evernever storyline and the absence or limited appearance of many great characters such as Sweet Pea it's been a great season, we've been able to dive deeper into the lives of the characters and take a slightly relaxed break from Serial Killers and Supernatural Board Games. My only issue with this epsiode was the overall shortness of this storyline that last just 3-4 episodes I believe it should have started sooner like Episode 7 or 8 and it would have had a longer and greater impact. But nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed this but wonder what is going to happen in the final 3 episodes and who will the final villain be? Mr Honey perhaps? But yeah loved the episode and enjoying the season.
Riverdale: Chapter Forty-Three: Outbreak (2018)
Incredible, a masterpiece
Possibly the greatest Riverdale episode. We had everything, a Jones family reunion, the growing bromance between Jug and Arch, one of the most thrilling Betty storylines to this day, Penny's return, the revival of Ethel from being the worst character on the show, the smack down to Sister Woodhouse. Everything was great.
Storyline rating:
Betty at Quiet Mercy: 9/10 - best storyline since Black Hood for Betty
Jug & Arch in Toledo: 9/10 - best storyline with Jug and Arch together
Lodge War + Seizures: 7/10 - decent, Veronica is getting a little boring without the likes of Arch, Betty and Jug, great at the end though!
And the ending was fantastic, Hiram Lodge's takeover of Riverdale, so far the best season!
Overall and amazing episode that was thrilling, entertaining, heartfelt and satisfying.
Aside for S2 E21, this is the best episode of Riverdale.
All American: Decisions (2020)
Good way to end it
I don't understand the hate? They wrapped up the booster/investigation, the will jordan and simone date, the will asher and olivia get back together storylines and introduced the coach baker at crenshaw storyline, olivia's possible relapse, tyrone's sister getting revenge and spencer having nerve damage storylines as well as the senior year storyline. (As junior year took 2 seasons, Senior would probably be the same). It did what a season finale should, end some storylines, introduce new storylines and end it with a huge cliffhanger. The new storylines keep you wondering and the cliffhanger keeps you invested. Perfect way to end it. Yes, they could have wrapped up a couple more storylines but the new ones especially Tyrone's sister's revenge and Spencer's injuries are crazy and will leave everyone waiting and excited for the next season
Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)
My favorite movie
Here's the thing people need to understand. It doesn't have to be realistic for it to be entertaining I mean come on this movie is clearly meant for you to have a good time and not care about anything
Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019)
Phenomenal
Definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen. Vicky Kaushal has proven he can play any role from a friend with a lisp (Sanju), to a Pakistani soldier ( in Raazi) and now a badass major in the Indian army. Probably the most realistic war/army movie I have seen filled with non stop thrills. This gripping movie leaves you entertained throughout making sure that not even a nano second of boredom can appear. A must watch.
