I miss Richard, why did they have to kill him off?! He made the story so much fun. The new guy just bores me. There is no chemistry, no expression in him that makes me think he is a real police detective. He just looks like a bumbling, disoriented tourist. I liked Richard He was exactly how an English officer/detective thrown on an island should be. Apprehensive to take on new things,clinging to his former routines but every now and then you see a glimmer of acceptance. I now watch it for the other characters which make their roles seem real. My husband says it is too boring now and refuses to watch the new episodes with me, he will just start the series over and continue to watch the episodes with Richard. I wish they did not have to have the new guy.

Took the kids 8 and 10 to watch Jurassic World, finally getting tickets late Sunday, every other time for the last couple days were sold out. I think it was just an OK movie. did not like all the personal touchy feely moments. Did not need the crying or the sexual tension trying to be created. I wanted more dinosaur, more fighting, more eating people. Spoiler? Don't know if it would be or not. Why is the lady dressed in all white in heels running around a jungle. She turns from a wimp into a butt kicking wanna be hero. I kept thinking King Kong, big monster trying to get the lady he liked or disliked in this case. Wish it told us more about the dinosaurs, how they came about, how they put the DNA together, etc. I really did not care about the people aspect. Had some moments that made you jump, but I wanted more. I will be getting the DVD for my collection.
