The Assassins (2024)
1/10
Bad acting and SUPER BAD directing
21 April 2024
The Assassins presents a captivating premise with its intriguing storyline, but unfortunately, the execution falls short of its potential. Despite the promising narrative, the direction and acting severely undermine the overall quality of the show, resulting in a disappointing viewing experience.

From the onset, the audience is drawn into a world filled with possibility, where the complexities of human emotions and relationships are explored against the backdrop of an engaging plot. However, as the story unfolds, it becomes apparent that the direction lacks coherence and fails to effectively translate the essence of the script onto the screen.

Furthermore, the performances by the cast fail to elevate the material, with stilted delivery and lackluster portrayals hindering the audience's ability to connect with the characters on a meaningful level. Moments that should evoke empathy or tension instead fall flat, robbing the narrative of its intended impact.

The right movie at the right time
5 January 2024
"Leave the World Behind" captivates with its gripping narrative and suspenseful twists. The film's portrayal of justice prevailing echoes the sentiment of a looming reckoning, mirroring the anticipation of justice prevailing in real-world scenarios. As the plot unfolds, the impending resolution to the antagonist's actions mirrors a collective yearning for accountability. A thrilling cinematic experience that resonates with the zeitgeist of societal expectations.

The murderer and the bad guy must be punished after all. Not sure when this movie was written but it's absolutely brilliant and complete that needs no other ending.

Finally, something to watch in Egyptian cinema!
22 September 2023
What's most exciting about this film is its departure from the formulaic and often shallow movies that have dominated Egyptian cinema. It represents a bold step towards creating meaningful and thought-provoking films that resonate with both local and international audiences. It's a refreshing change from the typical silly comedies and predictable romances, and it paves the way for a new era of Egyptian cinema.

In conclusion, this Egyptian film is a true gem that deserves recognition and praise. With its outstanding filming, impeccable writing, and exceptional acting, it's a testament to the evolving and promising future of Egyptian cinema. It not only entertains but also challenges and inspires, leaving a lasting impression on anyone fortunate enough to experience it.

A BIG FAILURE!!!
15 September 2023
Utterly disappointed from this show. Its poor direction was painfully evident throughout, with scenes feeling disjointed and lacking coherence. The acting was equally miserable, with performances that failed to convey any genuine emotion or depth.

To make matters worse, the storyline diverged so drastically from actual events that it was difficult to recognize any connection. It's disheartening to see such a blatant disregard for historical accuracy in an Egyptian drama.

In essence, this show was a prime example of how not to create a compelling narrative. With subpar direction, woeful acting, and a story that seemed to have no regard for authenticity, this Egyptian drama reached a new low that left me questioning the industry's standards.

Brilliant Film
27 July 2023
If this film don't win Nolan an Oscar, I'm not sure what will!

Brilliant acting, loud and magnificent soundtrack, and the mesmerizing end scene. All of these factors are undoubtedly amazing.

"Oppenheimer" is a cinematic masterpiece that leaves audiences captivated and moved. The film brilliantly portrays the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb. With stellar performances, compelling storytelling, and stunning visuals, it delves into the complexities of science, ethics, and human nature. A must-watch for history buffs and anyone seeking thought-provoking cinema. Truly an unforgettable experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A good one.

Actually, it could have been better but still I find this movie a good start into the right direction for the Egyptian cinema.

Actors might need more courses lol but directing was really good, maybe with less nonsense action scenes and more story with twisters would make it a perfect Egyptian movie.

Stupid biased show
4 September 2020
Poor acting, stupid directing, and biased Israeli story that shows and only approves their point of view.

I am a Palestinian who lives there, and I can tell ya'll this show is just an Israeli propaganda which shows Palestinians and their legitimate resistance defending their people and lands, as stupid terrorists and monsters without a case.

Acting is 7/10, Story 2/10

Again the Egyptian film industry is based on ignorance and is going in one direction only (regime's Agenda). This movie is superficial and distorting all the way from the beginning to the end.
