Those Who Can't (2016)
Retitled it as Those Who Can't Make a Good Show
It was the worst pilot I've ever came across, character development goes awry when they decided to make the characters seem way more awkward, insecure, childish and reckless in the name of dark humor, but I've never seen such an obivous failure in doing this. How could you even justify yourself writing such an episode! Just to be sure, I've given it a second chance and watched another episode that got a good rating, and although it ratherly improved it is never funny, and it is not even a tiny bit appealing. So I suggest do not waste your time watching this while there are literally thousand other TV-Shows which can easily replace the pleasure or whatvever you want from a TV-Show, that you'll ever get from ''Those Who Can't''.
Also, I hereby am adding the writers and anyone who is involved in this show to my blacklist, and swear on never watching anything they would produce.
Awkward. (2011)
Trigger warning/ fat-shaming, Anorexia
I can understand that they might wanted to portray high school bullying and cruelty, but even among their friends, characters continue to exhibit fatshaming, anorexic speech etc. And this was only in the first two episodes. Women themselves suggest each other to change their bodies; ''You are not going to see any action, looking like a euro-trash.''. Her friend said that, and I don't care if in the real life such a character might exist, but in a series that is televised in a mainstream channel this cannot be let go uncountered by a reasonable answer. So, in brief very problematic characters, questionable writing ??
Hilda (2018)
Great Example of Magical Realism
I love the fact that the fantastical world is not only a secret of the kids but also open to the adults and parents. I truly apperiacte that parents can participate in this world, which brings me to the point that I'm a little bit disappointed about the fact that the world that is presented to us in the first two episodes left unexplored so easily when they moved to the city. I'm writing this while watching episode six, so I hope the writers would explore it!
Wayne (2019)
The End of the F***ing World, all over again
Finished the 2nd episode, then I began to see the resemblance and didn't like it. There were occasional laughs but overall I'd find it unworthy of my time. Still, you could watch it for the plot rather than for the laugh, but at the end whatever they do they cannot go beyond the image which is being two troubled teens going around the country, with or without a purpose it doesn't matter
