1923: Nothing Left to Lose (2023)
So unsatisfactory
As in all of Sheridan's shows, there's no denouement, no cohesion. It's random sub-plots without resolution. It's a series of unresolved cliffhangers. What happens to all the characters that are introduced and then neglected?
It's like watching many different shows, everything is so random. And in the case of 1923, gratuitous. Why the unnecessarily long fixation on the sex acts by the prostitutes? Only to show that Da;ton's character is a sadist? One can surely show that in a more subtle way. Here it was all about gratuitous sex and nudity. Very uncalled for in the context of this series. It cheapened everything down.
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
No cohesion?
What happened to all the unsolved story lines and cliffhangers of the first two seasons? This is a completely new storyline, meanwhile we have no resolution to all the previous drama.
This is the new way of writing tv shows. I've seen that in the Yellowstone universe. Completely random new episodes, unresolved mysteries, ignoring the past seasons.
Just watched the finale of season 3 and while that season was great and a homage to TNG, whatever happened to season 2's fallout? Jurati became the Borg Queen and changed the Borg collective for the better. Rafi and Seven became a couple. Yet now, in season 3 we have the evil Borg again with a different Queen. And the lovers are now mere friends.
Why is there no cohesion at all between the seasons? This is not anthology series after all....

Seriously bad
The 3 star rating is for the gorgeous cinematography. So far I've loved everything by Taylor Sheridan. This here not.
This show is seriously bad. Ridiculous acting. Ridiculous bleached teeth on the main cast. Ridiculous wokeish emancipation that was not the case in the 19th Century.
