13 Minutes (2021)
Liberal propaganda
Someone was looking for a way to push liberal views, which they did for the first hour of the movie. Then they realized they needed to get to the point, and threw in a last minute tornado. Would have been a better movie with more action and less soapbox.
Meek's Cutoff (2010)
Just wow
Long, boring, and ends abruptly with no kind of conclusion. I kept waiting for it to get better, then the credits rolled. It was listed as "for fans of action movies" on Hulu, so i expected some excitement, there was none.
Brimstone (2016)
Terrific and horrible
I was absolutely glued to this movie but at the same time wondering why. The mood of the movie was dark and sinister. The acting was good. Im having a hard time with the words to describe this one. While the movie was captivating, it was very hard to watch at times due the the severe abuse of women and sexual and physical abuse of children. You definitely have the worst of the worst of antagonists in this movie.
Queen Bees (2021)
Loved it
I really enjoyed this movie. So heartwarming and endearing. I laughed and I cried. I'd watch it again. Probably won't be a hit with the younger crowd or men, but as a middle-aged woman, I loved it.
Priceless (2016)
Completely LOVED this movie.
This movie touched my heart! I watched it over and over and shared it with so many people. It was sad, but inspiring, and had a very nice ending. Yes, it is a faith-based movie so if you don't like those, it may not be for you.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
Not sure how to feel
I started watching episode 1, got about halfway through and turned it off because of the terrible Voice over work and over acting. But I kept reading things about it being so good so I turned it back on and I did get sucked into it. But maybe it was more like a train wreck that I just couldn't look away from. Since I'm left not knowing whether I even liked it or not, I gave it 5 stars.
The I-Land (2019)
I enjoyed it
I watched the whole thing in one day. I really liked it, even told my husband he should watch it. I was very surprised that it was ripped to shreds in the reviews. Thought it was a lot better than Squid Game which got really high reviews.
Loving the Bad Man (2010)
Beautiful story of forgiveness
I stayed in tears on and off throughout he whole movie. The people that rated it low missed the point of the movie entirely or tried reading their own political views on abortion into it. This movie really had nothing at all to do with the abortion issue or really even the baby that was born through. I did not glorify the rapist but showed God mercy on him. At no point did the movie try to convince victims to " There was no romantic relationship between the two ever. It was wholly about forgiveness and the power of that forgiveness. A sinner who turned to God because of a young woman's courage to forgive even when her own mind and everyone around her thought she was crazy for doing so. She heard God whisper to her heart and her faith allowed her to follow her heart to forgive someone who had wronged her so terribly.
