Deep Blue Sea (1999)
Terrible
Deep blue sea more like deep blue garbage amirite. I didn't care about any of the characters and I was bored throughout. I was surprised by that as there were sharks in it and sharks are neat. I didn't care about the scientist's motivation at all because it didn't give me the impression that she actually cared that much.
Luna de miel (2015)
Mediocre and disturbing film
I feel like the only reason this film was made was because the director wanted an reason to portray a woman being tortured over and over. Graphic scenes can be a powerful way to advance a story if used correctly, but the plot was barely existent and only seemed to be there as an excuse to shoot a series of scenes. The only thing this movie made me feel was revulsion. Nothing else about it stood out. I didn't get involved with the story, the cinematography was unremarkable and the pacing was awkward.
I regret watching it all the way through. Don't waste your time with this, even if you enjoy gore and violence. There are way better movies out there.
American Blackout (2013)
Boring
This movie sucks but I'm giving it two stars instead of one because the peach fighting scene was kind of funny. It pretends to be "realistic" and uses some real-life footage but it's hard to believe and just bad. I didn't care about any of the characters. I actually ended up loathing them and wanting them to get hurt. The ending was weak and had no explanation. It felt like the power being back would magically fix everything that went wrong, somehow. I feel like the only person who has seen this film and I hate myself for it. I feel bad for the actors in this. They deserve better. Right now I'm just doing this because IMDb is forcing me to write a longer review. My original review only had two lines and it was about the can of peach and the fight.
