Renfield (2023)
It is a great trash!
I think this movie is a really great trash movie with a really nice and connectable main character.
I really loved that it is kinda funny, bloody, but still tell true stuff about life even if these things are heard a lot.
It was a mix of well done action scenes and some slower parts to connect with the story, Reinfield and his situation. Also these parts were really nicely put together and put in the perfect moments to give a little space and give you the chance to get ready for the next action.
The bloody scenes were great, The action moves and photos, the view of the camera were enjoyable.
If you would like to spend your night woth a movie which is made just for fun, if you like trash movies , you know the made to be what it became kind of bad what is actually good,
the good bad kind, then this is for you.
Also I recommend Turbo kid which is an amazingly loveable trash movie. One of a kind.
Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022)
it is absolutely not, what you expect
I think it was a really great and nice movie.
By the trailer I expected a comedy but it could not have been further from the truth.
As I see lot of people tought thia way else and gave stars by that expectation.
It is slow , it is a lollaby, it is a fairy tale, a story to tell or a story what've been told.
Our main character tells a story to us about herself and a djinn and even if we didn't think about it, that's what we needed , not a funny story but a nice and interesting story, a bed time story for adults.
I really loved the main actors,
and most of the viaual effects were great (except the football scene at the end).
The sounds were warm, and went hand in hand with the pictures we saw.
I think it's worth to watch it.
The Lost City (2022)
Good for a sunday afternoon
It was not the best romcom but it was kinda funny in its simplicity.
Actually I liked it till the last 5-10minutes because they should have end the movie there. Those minutes were not neccessary and were too weak and low , ruined the experience.
A feltaláló (2020)
It's only a commercial/advertisement
The movie showed as a "based on real events" movie on NETFLIX and the main characters ( Béres József) invent in a new formula, a medical concoction.
It's a real story, there is a company in Hungary which produce this product and it's in the shops as a vitamin or dietary supplement.
But the movie gives the impression that this product is a solution for cancer, it can cure cancer. The average people may think after the movie that this product is a phenomenal solution for every health issue even cancer, but this is absolutely not true.
It's a dangerous statement/conjecture and it is able to cause real misunderstandings and real health problems for real people. It is unacceptable.
The movie sais this product cures cancer and it's a great medicine but the last governor system in Hungary just made it impossible to sell it as a drug in the pharmacies, and sent to shops as random homeopathic product. But it is a random homeopathic product, a vitamin product.
So this movie misleads a lot of people and tell lies about a real product which still available in the shops. This movie is a commercial, a lie, and a real danger for people who got no knowledge about the product. I ask you to check up this movie, expostulate it, and MARK it as a fictional movie with real human characters in it. I ask you, to put a notification or a warning on it.
And btw the movie is boring and everyone talks in it like they reading up it from a book as a tale.
Yasuke (2021)
I think they almost got it
It was a close one.
The characters should have had a little bit more depth.
I couldn't get attached to the world, to the main characters,
actually some side character were more interesting, but it really was a close one, it worth a watch -because it got only 6 episodes- but it is not in the first 50 animation series or movies I would recommend.
Also, this series got the worst prologue what I've ever seen in my life.
Really it was an amazingly irritating show off-self demonstration.
Actually it was more about the creators and companies nor the series,
also the music, nehh... they should have chosen better , with better mood connection to the animations, because the way they did it, it could have been better to a romantic high school anime.
#Saraitda (2020)
Almost awesome
I really loved it but the last few seconds just ruined the experience for me.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
It is just really unconcerned and tedious
It was just awful in my opinion.
It was mostly too dark, someone always screamed, they tried to make some touching moment but 9 out of 10 was just funny or boring.
The 10th was one moment when the good monsters almost lost the fight.
The conversations were also boring and empty.
The last song was pretty good after the last scene.
So overall they made a movie which looks like a tv movie from 2010 and feels like the worst of the 90's. I didn't fall asleep because I had to work...
Maybe they tried to mimic the Godzilla animated series and they'd put every episode together.... I'm not sure but I can't understand who payed for this movie, who payed for them to make it and who watched it in the cinema.
You should not watch this, it's complete waste of time.
If you want to watch some godzilla just watch the cartoon or any other godzilla movie.
Altered Carbon (2018)
I am disappointed
I've red the Takeshi trilogy and each book is amazing!
Richard Morgan made an excellent work on them and I was really curious and excited when I heard they will make series from it.
The first season was pretty nice.
I felt that they tried keep the original story, I felt they didn't done it well but almost. The atmosphere , the charachter's depth was great, It remind me to the book. I think they tried to really care about the story.
But the second seson... So lame.
Like an "everybody can write a sci-fi action story" plot where the writers
told to eachother "hey , just write something it will be a sci-fi"
and use these words: Harlan,Kovacs,Quellcrist and it is gona be great.
NOPE. It is really not and you ruined it so badly that I can't find the right words.
It's a shame that you got the courage/nerve to write down this story under the name of Altered Carbon, under the brand, the original story.
You've just sh;t on the book and hoped the sh;t will suck up something from it.
Did Richard Morgan sold the rights to write something really bad thing under the name of the Altered Carbon? Or you bought the name but you got no the rights of the 2nd and 3rd book?
What did you expect?
You tought you can write something as good as the writer?
Shame on you -all of you who wrote the plots of the second season and who permitted it.
And the poor main actor just get the critics on his poor head that "he can't be Kovacs, he isn't good enough" etc. -maybe it's right but we will never know because the "writers" didn't give him depth, instructions, great lines to say.
And most of the people don't know it because they didn't read the books.
Shame on you.
Sorry for it, but I am truly disappointed.
