Harvey Beaks (2015–2017)
10/10
The breath of fresh air Nickelodeon needed
29 July 2015
Harvey Beaks is a great cartoon. Beautiful visuals, beautiful soundtrack, fun engaging characters, funny stories and situations; you can tell a lot of love and effort went into every episode of this series.

It's no secret Nickelodeon's been having a bad time of it lately. All you need to do is look at their schedule. How many hours of Fairly Odd-Parents and Spongebob are they running between Nick JR and Nick@Nite?

But Harvey Beaks really feels like it could fit easily with the golden age of Nicktoons, between Hey Arnold and Rocko's Modern Life. It's the perfect mix of funny, comfy-ness, and quality that you just don't see in other modern Nick Toons or even dare I say most Cartoon Network cartoons.

Definitely give it a watch with your kid or by yourself. It's completely worth your time and attention.

Harvey Beaks: Nightclub Night/The Rebel (2015)
Season 1, Episode 4
10/10
Favorite Episode of an amazing show
29 July 2015
Nightclub Night has got to be my favorite episode so far. Any moment with Dade is hilarious and he gets quite a few great moments in this episode. Everybody knows somebody like TechnoBear, and it's amazing how they captured that kind of person with him. His exchange with the DJ just says it all really.

Also the music RODY BODY ROCK BOCK BOCK is catchy as hell.

The Rebel's great too. The idea of a kid who wants to be a rebel who's too much of a goody-two-shoes to actually rebel is hilarious. Best moment is when Harvey closes the gate "but not ALL the way...re- bellion!" And the resolution to the episode is, as always, amazing in its own way.
