The current 4.5 rating for this episode is ridiculous.
I understand the ending isn't satisfying for folks wanting a nice little bow on the season and a happy ending but this isn't a limited series. It'll be returning for a second season and Bodie's redemption story will continue.
Honestly, the decision Bodie makes is in line with everything the character did all season long - he's putting others ahead of himself. Why should he stop doing that because it negatively impacts him?
This is a solid episode with drama and intrigue throughout and, honestly, a final decision that gives us something to look forward to in season two. If it was happily ever after would there be any reason to continue the story?
