People say it's boring but it's actually essential
2 February 2020
This episode might be full of rather slow-paced flashbacks. But as a viewer who has been following this show for a long time instead of binging it all at once, i find it hard to recall all the details and story back in Season 1 when Sam Keating was still around.

Hence this episode is necessary to help us recall the strained relationships between the Keatings, bonnie and Frank.

Terrible adaptation
1 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
1) The actors make those overly-fake expressions as if they are anime characters which are super awkward and is not what should be done in an adaptation...

2) The scene where Roy burns Lust should be an opportunity for a very great scene. Roy should be very angry not just "on his face", but also with how he burns Lust down. However, the actor totally fails to do so.

3) In the fight scene between Roy, Ed, Lust and Envy, it should be more intense. Instead, Ed was like smiling and smirking.. and the pace was terribly slow:
  • When Al arrived to save Ed's ass, they had the time for some chatting amid a fight..
  • When Ed and Al were hiding behind the rock "discussing strategies", Lust could totally just slice through the rock easily (like how she later did).. but instead she just stood there letting Ed and Al slowly discussing...
