The Ledge (2022)
Truly Woeful
Absolutely atrocious piece of film making. There's nothing good to say about it. The storyline, the script, the acting, the "action" is all massively subpar. 2/10.
Road House (1989)
The Name Is Dalton
It's like a lighthearted homage to Redneck America. The most famous Bouncer in the land comes to town? Sam Elliot putting his hair up cos there's a fight coming. Kelly Lynch's getting well pumped facial expression that led to the late night well publicised Bill Murray phone calls (Google). I reckon it's actually got some top quality pre-shaky cam Fight Choreography that was likely not overly surpassed if that's the right way of looking at it till Bourne. It's a super cheesy good time that'll never be less than a 7.9/10.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
It's a decent time.
Decent, I'm not clamouring, it seems to be getting raves, but I did enjoy it, though I'd have trimmed it. I'm glad I was right about it being Data/Short Round who I'd not seen in anything since The Goonies and I'm not just a racist. 7/10.
A Closed Book (2009)
Eh Naw
Generally a medium sized bag of naw. No good performances, dialogue or technicals. Sell it a dummy 3/10.
