I took my 15 year old and 4 year old to see this. I had no idea about the "wokeness". Even if I had I still would have brought them. Still not sure why it bothers so many...
I really enjoyed it. In my opinion it was intriguing, exciting, and had me laughing out loud more than once.
My 15 year old said it was just ok. He couldn't give a reason.
My 4 year old was on the literally on the edge of his seat throughout and even gasped a few times. The next day he asked if he could watch it again. In my opinion few movies are worthy of paying to see twice in cinema with costs what they are these days. He'll have to wait until it's streaming.
