This season started out strong. However it's come to remind me of the failings of American Horror Story - where it's stacked with an incredible cast who are ultimately betrayed by bad writing & a meandering storyline that begins with a strong premise but fails all involved. This last episode, rather than climax, implodes. What could have been a powerful story on domestic violence, ended up having a whole lot of nothing to say. The whole series is unnecessary violent (this episode is no exception), but you'd hope the violence would have a least made an impactful point. This season had its moments (Jennifer Jason Leigh was especially delightful & her character deliciously played). But this ending made it not worth the 10 hour investment of time.

Spectacular visuals. Perfectly cast. Halle gave me chills with her stunning vocals & wonderful acting. I balled me eyes out by the end. The only original animated movie to merit a live action version, in my opinion. Jonah Hauer-King was the dreamiest Eric. And with the extra time, they did a great job fleshing out Eric's backstory & what emotionally brings him and Ariel together. Melissa McCarthy knocked it out of the park with her rendition of Ursula - and she was really scary (in a good way) by the end. I hope they make a behind-the-scenes because the effects are mind-blowing. WHAT a beautiful film!!

Episode 6 gave me LIFE !!! Hard to top Episode 5, but they definitely did it!! And this is after I mostly hated Episodes 1-4... Essentially this is a completely different show now since Episode 5 (it's The Mandolorian Season 3)... I'm completely fine with it - considering all the amazing characters appearing in this episode!!!

Cool characters... but disappointing show! The bacta tank flashback in every episode (so far) is TEDIOUS. Episodes start promising, then it's back to the bacta tank, interrupting the story flow. Love the Hutt Twins and Krrsantan (even the cyberpunk youth gang) but the story thus far (episode 3) is super weak - just like Boba's fighting. He's supposed to be a badass, and in this series he's flailing around (just like the writing!).

To me this episode didn't fit the tone of the series. It was too sadistic & just not in the spirit of the series or Star Wars as a whole.

10s across the board for the ball performers, who have some compelling stories & performances. But I give the chop to the maddening, disorienting, choppy editing - especially of the ballroom performances - trying way to hard to make 'exciting' when the performances are inherently exciting & don't need so many angles that it's hard to follow / see what the performers are actually doing.

I LOVED IT!! Excellent job threading the needle not just in this trilogy but bringing all nine films together. It was beautiful to watch, so much fun, action packed, & an awesome message!!
