My first Turkish series
5 May 2024
I watched all the seasons in netlfix. It was well made and a look into the Turkish culture which I could relate to with Indian culture. The usual dram of the families was very close to Indian culture. The series was long and I was curious. The acting production was very well done & I really looked forward to an ending. It's really sad that there won't be any more of it and it ends very abruptly after the season 3, 5 episode. After so many hours and bindge watching I was going for the story to close.

I hope they are able to revive it. Throughly enjoyed the cultural elements and am in love with Istanbul.

It's a must watch
6 April 2024
It's a film that captures true India well. Good performances & Neena Gupta was so aptly chosen. No other person could have done justice to this role. The darkness of varanasi & so called culture - is well documented. The sensitivity to the topic and patriarchy well challenged & overdue. The entire film has been captured with instances that are so real & I have witnessed myself in varanasi years ago. What people do on the name of tradition. Bravo to the SC for ending this madness atlest in the law. It's hopeful what one person can do. I highly recommend it & take your one view. The topic is so directly handled which I love. It's helpful & still a long way to go but such films are more than welcome to capture history.

The reality of India & yet a topic we don't care about
21 March 2024
Well made film showing the realities of basic human rights. The kid has out performed everyone and all actors doen a great job. The topic which needs a lot more attention and is very real, films like these should be tax free verses an article 370. While Hindus shout so much about others it's about time to look into their own deeply rooted caste system. It's a must watch, don't want to be a spoiler alert. If you don't just empty entertainment this film is not for you cause it will touch your heart and may make you want to access your humanity. I highly recommend it. Education & its state in india is a serious concern and it captures it well.

Loved the film
3 November 2022
The movie touches upon important topics and the real india. It's based on a true story story which I was pleasantly surprised to find out. It's made simply and no drama as such unlike an Indian film which I loved. I highly recommended watching it. Pankaj Tripathi did well and he is a fine actor. The hopelessness of government offices and the plight of the poor much more than cities is captured well. The modern era of justice is clear or rather no justice and the money making never ending human trait is captured well. The film has been shot very well and the clarity of execution with no meaningless frames is rare to see in Indian directors. It focuses on the subject through and through without distraction. It could have lightly more crisp and shorter but overall I highly recommend watching it.

What a story
29 September 2022
Such an inspiring film of courage and perseverance. It's well shot and heartbreaking to know the story but well worth it. Humans ! Well made and a story worth telling. He lost everything the first time and for 17 mts had to go back and lost his life. I am speechless! Only curious as to how did the team know he didn't make it to the top when they weren't there and that it was exact 17 mts. Would love to understand that. What a team tough. The movie captures it subtly but well. The mountains are exceptionally beautiful and who wouldn't feel the desire to go ! I wish I could. Film is very well shot.
