First things first, if you want to watch something while turning off your mind. You will hate this movie. But for those who just love to watch anything that forces you to think. It's for you. You get lots of philosophy in this movie, And let me tell you. It also has lots to it meaning some action, drama, science fiction and comedy. It is a kind of movie I would think would win many awards including best film as the featured award. The acting is amazing. With an open mind the movie pulls you in and takes you so many different directions. I highly suggest this movie! Just a eclectic piece of art.

Now I like the original movie. But I like this one as well. But I had to write this because of the hypocrites who say they love the book and love the original and hate this. The fact is Roald Dahl hated the 1971 version. I really enjoy it but he hated it for he thought it was not true to the book. Real fans of the book would know this. But I enjoy both versions despite that. And another factor of this version is that the remaining Dahl family had a hand in it. Anyways people need to stop being biased and hate it for another reason at least.

I have never seen anything so far fetched as this. Did everyone involved in this get together and smoked way too much of something? Nothing against people who smoke pot but geez. Too much is too much. They act like everything has a meaning. It's sad.

It's like a bad acid trip. And then you have Laurie. This version is the kind of character you want to see die in a horror movie. Then Loomis. Zombie made Loomis into garbage. I cannot understand any fan of Halloween would enjoy this. Horror movies for that matter.

The woke comes in little packages. The little girl was annoying Ruined it for me.

Do the people who made this movie have a terrible case of ADHD?

This movie is brilliant comedy gold. Sharp and Witty and a joyride through and through.

Of course we have these toxic fanboys cry on here because either their theories did not pan out or this did not fallow the EU to the tee. So as a diehard fan of star wars who by the way was disappointed in the last jedi I find this by far the best of the new trilogy. JJ had so much to fix and he did so. I am wondering if the haters actually paid attention to the movie or are blinded by the hate of Disney buying star wars. Unless they rogue one it. Cheap fan made film it. The rise of Skywalker to me had so many elements and tied it all together nicely with great action and emotions. I was compelled to write this review on the fact that they babies are trying hard to downgrade any review they can by using many different accounts. Without spoiling it we get some answers and we get some pondering and points to certain things. I loved this movie. I been a fan of the movies since I can remember and though nothing comes close to the originals I would put this 4th of all time after three of the originals. My two worst in my opinion being last jedi and attack of the clones. Do not listen to the toxic fanbase. Watch it yourself with an open mind and have fun.

By no means does this touch the original first and though it was made to disregard the original second I will always love the original second. But to me this ranks as the third best Halloween of them all. And I am sure many who love Zombie's versions probably hate this. But to me Zombie in my own opinion made Michael Myers a white trash wallmart brand version. I loved how they really fallowed the original. Without saying I do wish they did not scrape the original second but I can pretend it is the third of the Michael Myers and Laurie story. Just so many witty parallels and the man himself John Carpenter approved this. So that is very cool.

I am in the minority of someone who enjoyed it. It is not close to the original or the second or even for me avp. But I enjoyed it. I suppose it had its campy moments and that is why people hate it. But to me I could withstand it and actually took it quite well. Like I said this does not come close to the original 2. And comparing this to those would be an insult. But still enjoyable in my opinion.
