Beautiful.

King Of The Hill is a show that has many memorable moments and beautiful characters, and the reason why this show is still being talked about today is the love, and development of those characters. I think an animated show will sometime only allow that love and care to shine on the major characters, using side characters as a comic relief or minor plot device. That's not the case with this show.

There are few episodes of television that stick out like this one. Buckley was never a character that outright had development besides as a plot device for Luanne. While his character passing was a shock, we then get this gem of an episode and the beautiful writing of young love lost, and what that can do to someone. Wow, what an episode. It might be my favorite of the series. "Life In A Northern Town" hits, it hits hard. Easily a top ten episode of any television series for me. Wherever Johnny Hardwick may be right now, I hope there are trampolines. Beautiful writing, Johnny.

Popcorn Kernels + Toilet Paper = That doesn't even make sense

I had a chance to check out this film from the Hells Half Mile Film Festival in Bay City, Michigan. It was a fun ride! It had some great dialogue scenes and fleshed out characters, I really enjoyed the performances (Val & Jake were very good). The location in this film is STUNNING and can keep you hooked even if Horror/Comedy isn't your thing. True indie films have to have a ton of heart behind them and this one for sure does. There are a few plot points you could see coming, but that goes with any horror film in the slasher genre, the comedy elements were great and the scenes had great pacing to them. Great work to the whole team.
