Untold (2021– )
How has humanity ended up here?
17 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
No other group of people would be given such a platform to manipulate people into feeling pity for them. Roniah is a narcissist who seems to have been portrayed as an innocent, misunderstood transgender. No other group of people would be shown in such a "positive" light. Everything he did was & should still be a sign of someone who's mentally unstable.

We've come to a point where everyone is so scared to "offend" transgenders/LGBTQ that they can't speak the truth, which is that they are the most entitled group, who always expect to be right & to be placed on a pedestal. How could Netflix think it's a good idea to portray Roniah as someone who did nothing wrong? He showed no remorse in the documentary, he acted like it was all a joke & just a bit of fun. That's a good example of someone who's mentally ill. He ruined a good man's career.

I've only given this a 3 because, as gullible & naive Manti was, I still feel sorry for him. Seems like a man with good intentions & a pure heart. Otherwise, it'd be a 1/10.

The Last Kingdom (2015–2022)
Loved every episode!
23 May 2022
Firstly the battle scenes were unreal! There were a good amount through the series. Usually, TV Series/movies based on similar genres don't have as many.

Also, the storyline kept me engaged and interested throughout all 5 seasons. The cast was also perfect & each character had a good role to play.

Ozark (2017–2022)
Series Finale could've been much better...
4 May 2022
Part 1 of Season 4 was very well written, the 2nd part, not as much ... I feel like they rushed to end the Series and if a little more thought was put into it, the finale could've been so much better!

The cast were perfect, but the finale hadn't done them justice. I watched Ozark year after year, eagerly waiting for the next season. But the Series finale wasn't the ending the show deserved ... but it's very common for TV Series these days, especially Netflix ones. Don't know why though!

Season 1-4: 9/10 Series Finale: 7/10 Overall: 8/10

For me, a Season Finale is as important as the rest of the Series combined, as that's what people tend to remember the show for.

However, we should appreciate how the show wasn't dragged on unnecessarily (which could've easily been done). 4 seasons was perfect.

Lost (2004–2010)
Deserves all 10 stars!!!
13 April 2022
The cast was perfect, storyline was gripping and the finale did justice to the entire series. I very rarely retain focus on a TV Series which is more than 4 seasons long but Lost had me wishing it would never end!

I watched the series throughout a span of 3 months this year, and it felt like I was watching it as it released.

Death in Paradise (2011– )
Maybe it's time this show ended...
14 March 2022
I have found it impossible to continue watching beyond season 10. For me, season 9/10 were a struggle to watch but now with season 11 out, I can't get myself to start watching it. It doesn't seem like like the show will be ending anytime soon either which is a shame. The first 6 seasons were amazing, I would look forward to watching each new episode. But the seasons since have been slowly degrading in quality. A lot of the script seems to be recycled and I really hope the creators end it on a relatively average note whilst they can.

Seasons 1-6: 9/10 Season 7-10: 7/10 Season 11-onwards: unable to continue watching Overall: 8/10 (for now)

Season 2 needed!
17 January 2022
Constantly had me switching my doubt between Adele and David. But I definitely was not expecting that ending! One of the best endings to a season (and potentially a series, if there's no season 2).

Although there wasn't much going on in the first 4 episodes, the storyline managed to (just about) keep me interested. The story picks up in episode 5 and leaves you lost for words in episode 6! The writers did well to mix supernatural fiction with real life.

Episode 1-4: 6/10 Episode 5: 8/10 Episode 6: 10/10

Overall: 8/10.

Whitechapel (2009–2013)
Wish it didn't get cut!
11 January 2022
Amazing TV series! I remember watching it 7 years ago and to this day, I wish it wasn't axed by ITV! The cliff hanger they left us on at the end of Season 4 was criminal. I still hope another streaming channel (preferably Netflix) picks it up and continues it, has so much potential!

Would've been 10/10 had it not been axed on such a cliff hanger!

Dexter (2006–2013)
Bay Harbour Butcher'd the ending!
10 January 2022
The series was interesting and gripping from season 1-7. The writers did a good job to keep the audience engaged throughout so many series. Casting Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan was perfect and the entire cast was pretty well chosen.

However, season 8 was the opposite, it was scripted pretty poorly and the reviews reflect it. Maintaining audience attention and focus slipped in the last season. And then comes the final episode... it almost ruined the entire series for me. Having done so well for 7 seasons, they almost wiped it out with the poor scripting of the series finale. There were so many better ways it could've ended!

Season 1-7: 10/10 Season 8: 7/10 Final ep. Of season 8: 4/10 Overall: 9/10.

Dexter: New Blood (2021–2022)
Bay Harbour Butcher'd the ending again!
10 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Dexter was such a complex character & Michael C. Hall portrayed him perfectly. The initial Dexter TV series (season 1-7) did a good job with creating a story behind Dexter Morgan. Season 8 let down the entire series, especially the final episode.

When Showtime announced that they were bringing it back, I was excited and hopeful that they'd redeem the story & its previous poor ending. Season 1 of Dexter: New Blood was intense and gripping. The season was brilliant but then they did the classic (which I was hoping wouldn't happen), and ruined the series at the very last episode. Why bring something back just to ruin it again???

Episode 1-9: 9/10 Episode 10: 4/10 Overall: 7/10.

Doctor Who (2005–2022)
Downhill since casting Jodie Whittaker!
29 December 2021
I used to love watching Doctor Who since it's reboot in 2005. Like most of us, David Tennant was the peak of the series, with Matt Smith doing a great job filling in. But once Peter Capaldi became the Doctor, the show slowly went downhill. It did slightly improve on Peter's 2nd season, but the moment Jodie tried her luck with being the Doctor, the show completely fell off & has gotten significantly worse throughout each of her seasons.

My rating on the Doctors would be: Christopher Eccleston - 9/10 David Tennant - 10/10 Matt Smith - 8/10 Peter Capaldi - 6/10 Jodie Whittaker - 3/10

If it wasn't for Jodie Whittaker, I'd have rated it 10/10!

Altered Carbon (2018–2020)
2nd season let the TV Series down
24 November 2021
The 1st season was so good but the 2nd season was heavily disappointing. I only ended up watching a few episodes of season 2 because of how much of a let down it was compared to season 1.

They should've kept it as a limited series instead. I'd rate season 1 10/10 but because of season 2, my rating drops to 8/10.

Grey's Anatomy (2005– )
Unexpectedly good
19 November 2021
I never thought I'd watch a TV series like this, the genre was never my type. But once I started watching it almost 7 years ago after someone had recommended it to me, I binge watched it until I caught up and then continued watching it until season 14.

I only stopped watching it because I realised it was a similar storyline per season. But that doesn't take away the fact that it's kept myself (and a lot of others) hooked for many many years!

Maid (2021)
Poor script & annoying protagonist
14 October 2021
Whoever wrote the script missed the mark on domestic abuse almost entirely. The protagonist is ungrateful throughout the entire series. She seemed to purposefully get herself into worse situations.

An abused woman who's forced into a shelter would not have a millionaire or a well off man offering their help & the woman refusing it on a regular basis, just to go back to the man who "abuses" her. There are women out there who are actually physically & mentally abused, with no support system in place, who wouldn't even get half the opportunities she received.

The first 3 episodes were good. The rest were just aimless, had no basis to them.

Finding it difficult to understand how this is so highly rated.

Cringing watching every episode!
13 April 2021
I enjoyed watching Amir Khan's parts but his wife Faryal was fake throughout the whole season. Everyone around her seemed to be walking on egg shells and laughing at the most unfunny things. She comes across as very self centred/absorbed.

She doesn't seem like a good role model for her kids with the way she talks and acts around them.

NCIS (2003– )
Went downhill after season 13!
9 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The show was fun to watch between seasons 1-13. The cast was kept untouched (apart from the great addition of Palmer). Ziva was also a great replacement for Caitlin after season 2, and Bishop also did ok replacing Ziva. The show kept a constant 8/10 rating between the first 13 seasons. Now I'm half way through season 14 and I can't continue watching it. The replacement cast simply didn't cut it for me. Also, Ducky's appearance has drastically reduced in season 14 (so far).

Once Anthony DiNozzo left at the end of season 13, they tried replacing him with Quinn and Torres. Unfortunately, they've dulled the show down heavily. If it wasn't for Gibbs, the show would've come to an end after season 13.

My ratings would be: 8/10 for seasons 1-13 5/10 for season 14 (can't continue watching any further, bored of it now) Overall rating 7/10

If I continued watching it, my overall review would probably drop down to 6/10.
