The Flash: Abra Kadabra (2017)
My goodness things just got fast.
The whole season felt pretty average to be honest. Nothing too special happened, Savitar felt like a laid back "another speedster" villain.
These last few episodes (other than the Musical) felt like a roller-coaster. Savitar is really becoming a villain to talk about. His identity hasn't been revealed yet, but the producers of the show said it's going to be insane. This Episode was really good. Abra Kadabra sized up to be quite the villain, as he is from the 64th century. I will NOT say that this is a filler episode because it wasn't. As much as I loved Dr. Snow, im glad they finally are doing a full blown Killer Frost.
I cannot stress this enough, next episode is looking to be one of the best in the entire series. Barry is going to meet his future self, a new suit, and possible the identity reveal of Savitar.
This is my opinion, but im kinda glad they didn't involve Wally too much in the episode. This episode for the first time in a while, reminded us that Barry Allen is THE Flash. I have to say, the way he dolphin dived off of that skyscraper and phased himself through the time ship was freakin amazing.
Overall: 9.9/10 (H.R. was on vacation :D lol)
The Flash: Untouchable (2017)
Barry getting more powerful :D
This episode was straight out amazing. Started off with a great race, I personally thought that barry was actually holding back his top speed, but nevertheless, he still won. I actually like the chemistry between Dr. Snow and Julian, and I kinda ship them a bit :D.
Wally was pretty good this episode, I didn't really like him at first but I guess ill like him soon enough. I kinda think he is immature in a lot of ways, but that'll change soon enough. Wally won't be the one to stop Savitar, because in the future, barry was the only one powerful enough to dethrone Savitar and trap him. Barry just has to take car of his mental blocks that are preventing him from getting faster.
I was actually amazed how Barry was able to vibrate a 500 ton train fast enough to phase. thats actually pretty OP, but it did exaust the speedforce in Barry's cells to the point of being disorientated, so he can't do that all the time, but DAMN that was amazing.
Next episode looks amazing. Im actually scared on how much money CW has spent on gorilla city, and i kinda understand why they would take a 2 week break. But this two part gorilla episode will be AMAZING.
Overall, I give this episode a 10/10. This is the first time I've seen a flawless episode in a while in my opinion.
The Flash: Borrowing Problems from the Future (2017)
Paving a new Future for the show (no pun intended)
This was a really good episode. It was a breath of fresh air and I enjoyed it a lot. The character development for Barry is going really well and Grant's acting is phenomenal. The First 8 episodes of the flash were trying to correct and live with Barry's decision in the past of creating flashpoint. It got kinda repetitive which kinda got me scared for the season, but when Savitar came, I told myself "Damn, they got a freakin 10 ft Megatron on the show, this season is gonna be lit". After seeing Savitar kill Iris in the future, the show took a huge turn from focusing on the past (flashpoint) and now focusing on the Future (Saving Iris). For some reason this has Resurged so many possibilities the show that actually makes me very interested. This means that if they are changing every event possible, we will most likely see Barry get a new suit, a Flash ring, and possibly new flash powers.
The only thing I had a problem with this episode was Wally. For some reason, his take as being a speedster isn't really feeling really good. His dialoges were very cringy and cheezy (felt like supergirl for a few seconds). Maybe we've been so spoiled with how good Barry is as the Official Flash? Wally's got A LOT to learn.
Otherwise everything was AMAZING and after seeing next episode's promo, I'm Very hyped up
Verdict: 9.6/10 (Breath of Fresh air after a long break.)
Legends of Tomorrow: Invasion! (2016)
Honestly, I think this just broke the Television TV Shows Standards... :D
I Cannot think of a show or a network that can host a 4-night crossover and at the same time not be sacrificing the quality of it.
I have been a fan of the Justice League and the DC Universe for a long time and after watching Batman V. Superman I had lost faith in this Universe and thought that Marvel had the upper hand in this Decade. Holy **** was I wrong... The DC TV Show Universe cannot be beaten, and although I love the Netflix TV Shows from Marvel, they cannot beat these shows.
I LOVE The Flash because of the special effects, the amount of comic book eastereggs and story lines they use. The Chase scenes and Music are my favorite.
CW did a really good job this year of bringing 4 shows together and making it as epic as possible. Nothing felt like a filler in any of the episodes, and although I felt the arrow episode was less of a crossover, it still was a really damn good episode. Out of all of these shows, The Flash is my favorite, and i love how they tied Flashpoint to the crossover. I kinda hated Cisco being mean to Barry, i mean i understand why but it felt a little repetitive however that cleared up this episode.
The Sad thing is they made supergirl stronger than she is in her own show... (maybe the sun in Earth-1 shines brighter than in Earth- 38???)
I am honestly worried on how much CW Spent on this crossover. The Special Effects were freaking amazing, however after Savitar fight scenes i feel like the upcoming episodes of the flash and supergirl and legends might lack some quality special effects, but whatever :D
Overall I really loved this crossover and this set the bar so freaking damn high that we wont see something as good or entertaining as this in any other network or superhero show.
4-Night Crossover: 9.7/10
My Question: When is Barry gonna get his Flash ring and when is he gonna get his brighter red suit???
The Flash: The Reverse-Flash Returns (2016)
Amazing
This Episode was screaming so many comic book easter eggs. From cisco's vibe glasses, to Eobards back-story about loving Barry the legend.
Im Glad to say Barry is finally fast enough to stop RF. Does that mean Barry has gotten a little faster? Of Course. However, he has a long way to stopping zoom.
And then the best part...
Hunter Zolomon's Reveal
i was screaming when Jay's doppleganger pointed out his doppleganger. And his is named Hunter Zolomon. For those who don't read comics..
Hunter Zolomon is Zoom in the comics
Does that mean Hunter Zolomon is Zoom in the TV show? I think its the best theory we now currently have.
PS: Barry phasing through the wall was Awesome
