This is my go to movie...im completely nostalgic over it. In my opinion its perfection. theres not much more i can say, its glitters,80s, adventure...and one hell of a sexy goblin king. I grew up with this movie and it is , to me, everything. watch it....decide for yourself

I thought it was fun! and i enjoy anything Henson. Im not sure why it got such a bad rap? Its a fun little watch and i enjoy the muppet puppets. Its not the most funny comedy ever but certainly and easy watch with some funny moments. I feel like the people voting it down are grading this on Oscar level filmography? like chill and enjoy it....its far far from bad

I have a soft spot for many of the films i grew up with as a kid, most of those films still being my favourite go-to movies when im feeling nostalgic. Dennis the menace is very much one of them. I Think the young actors in this are incredible. not only funny but extremely expressive deliver dialog perfectly... which for child actors is not common. I love the feel good story and still think its a timeless fun film that kids of the kids that grew up with it will still enjoy. Give it a watch, you cant go wrong

Wow is the acting wooden as hell in this!!! Thora Birch is in one of my fav movies....Now and then, Ghost world...to name but a few. But she is AWFUL in this, emotionless, monotone, and so wooden and stilted. Each scene is overly long with boring dialogue. It would look out of date if it was filmed in the early 2000's. and the stock background music is so overwhelmingly abused in every single scene it makes my ears bleed, i actually dont think there is a single scene in this movie that doesnt have background music! its so unnecessary and cheapens the film even more than the writing and acting does, and thats saying something. There is no chemistry between Birch and Klein...none whatsoever. Birch acts like she doesnt even want the paycheck from this movie...

I enjoyed it personally, yes its been done before, but so has everything else. i liked the 80's inspired soundtrack and the feel of it. i dont know what all the hate is for to be honest. Its enjoyable. Of course she is cliche....its meant to be. i would see this as more of a homage to 80s classics like pretty in pink etc

I truly am shocked at the IMDb rating. I thought this was a awesome female buddy cop movie. Michael McDonald character is side splitting hilarious. I love the dynamics between the two and seeing such a strong female cast lead something that wasn't just teenage fluff was refreshing. If this had been a male led film like bad boys or shanghai at this quality it would not have been rated so low down. Just like Bridesmaids this film deserves more credit than its got forwarding female focused casting choices in comedy and in Hollywood in general.....More like this please!!! If you are looking for a fun and laid back film to enjoy then give this a go and see for yourself
