Great documentary on a great team
22 May 2020
Masuk High School's football team in Monroe, CT has similar qualities to many sports organizations of experiencing glorious victories, heartbreaking loses, and taking on tough struggles that they try to overcome. But the brotherhood amongst the players, the sincere passion and dedication lead by their head coach, and the sense of one wholesome sports family in the town makes this community stand out among most other teams. Though the 2019 season for the Panthers did not reach as high as they had hoped for, you sometimes have to look beyond the scoreboard and season record to determine what makes a great team. This documentary takes you into those reasons of how this season measured up to any other winning record as the players, coaches, and residents of Monroe invite you into their passionate lives of sports.

Great artistic gothic horror film!
22 February 2020
The Devil's Machine is comprised of a lot of scenes with highly stylized lighting, an impressive display of costume designs for the characters set in the past, and a frighteningly brilliant musical score by Thibaut Vuillermet. One of the greatest scenes in the film is when the possessed clockwork doll, played by Alexandra Hulme, dances and she gives a breathtaking performance as if there are actual gears in her body as she moves and dances. You'll have to experience it for yourself by watching the film!

A nice change from typical revenge films
1 April 2019
Ashes sets up the type of scenario that we're use to seeing in pretty most revenge films then it starts to play out differently as the story progresses towards the end. Great performances are given from all of the cast, some magnificent cinematic visuals are seen throughout the film, wonderful locations in England / Scotland fill up nicely in the frame, and a good combination of composed music / pre-recorded songs mix well into some of the film's sequences. Ashes was an overall excellent film to watch.
