Norm Macdonald: Nothing Special (2022)
He seemed like he was deeply closeted, but I love it.
I found myself pressing pause and waiting a day to continue, thinking... This will be it, the last words I'll ever hear from the ol battle axe. I loved every minute of it. This poetic stand up/sit down was true art as it gave us a break from our idea of the regular old routine of a comedy special and performed it while saying goodbye to the world. This is something that has never been seen until now, because it had never been done.
Thank you Norm.
Michael Che: Shame the Devil (2021)
Gotta be vaxxed to get his jokes, according to himself
I stopped right when he went into his part in the divide of our people. Maybe he was joking, but I don't support any of this b.s. Maybe it's funny to the people who want to follow orders regardless if those orders are immoral.
Theo Von: Regular People (2021)
The specials pretty bad
But Theo is the funniest person in any Room he walks into... I think he would be great in movies or sketch comedy... Sorta like a Chris Farley..
Stand up is seemingly not his thing and I think that comes from telling the same stories over and over to where you aren't even interested in saying them let alone interested in whether or not people are laughing along to them.
