Tom and Jerry (II) (2021)
1/10
Couldn't finish
1 March 2021
I have 3 kids aged 4,6 and 9. Almost halfway through they called it quits.

This movie could have been made without any animation, no Tom and Jerry. Nothing makes sense where the protagonist is pushing a story forward and 2 animated characters are just constantly running around hitting each other. Why does this movie exist?

Probably the worst movie I have ever seen
16 June 2019
I'm struggling to think of a movie I have enjoyed less than this one. My previous #1 was Going Overboard starring Adam Sandler.

I'm guessing since Jordan Peele made this, his superfans are giving it great reviews. I love a lot of Peele work, his comedy and Get Out, I like. This? This is just so awful.

Weird trip

First season starts out as an Arrested Development clone, rich family out of touch with regular people loses everything.

By season 4 though, it's Gilmore Girls with small town love interests.

Amy Schumer: Growing (2019 TV Special)

Still not funny

How long can Amy Schumer hide behind her excuse that men hate women and that's why they don't like her?

I paid around $200 to watch Ronda Rousey fight. Is it because I hate women? Obviously it's because I enjoy watching people who are amazing at something do their thing. Amy Schumer is not amazing or even good. Why should we celebrate mediocrity, because she's female? Please.

Difficult to stomach at times

Well done documentary exploring Michael Jackson's use of celebrity for him to molest little boys repeatedly for years on end.

Hearing his victims describe how he assaulted them made it uncomfortable to watch, but it's a good thing to feel that way when confronted with such deplorable actions.

This should be required viewing for parents of children they are trying to get into show business, as people as sick and twisted as Michael Jackson do still exist.

Hail Satan? (2019)

Excited for this
27 February 2019
It gives me hope to see people band together and fight injustice. If deluded worshipers get to erect monuments on courthouse steps, then other groups such as the Satanists should have the same privilege.

Hopefully this opens the doors to every religion placing their monuments on the property. Equality for everyone.

Hilarious look at the conspiracy theorist community
22 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I loved this documentary. It let's the conspiracy theorists speak for themselves and present their own views. It shows how the flat earth community turns on each other and claim each other are CIA operatives or reptilian disguised as humans in order to fool them.

Like all conspiracy theorists, these self described smart people make sure the only people they associate with all hold the same viewpoints to make sure they don't have people disagreeing with them and pointing out their errors.

Funny moments include one conspiracy theorist giving an interview from his trailer park talking about how people think conspiracy theorists are losers who live in their moms basement. The video cuts to the flat earth leader who lives with his mom.

Conspiracy theorists spend $20,000 on a fancy gyroscope to prove the earth doesn't rotate 15 degrees an hour. Spend even more time trying to figure out why the gyroscope keeps saying the earth is rotating 15 degrees an hour. They forget they are mic'ed for the documentary and privately tell each other not to bring up the gyro anymore since it shows 15 degree rotation.

Conspiracy theorists shoot a laser a fair distance to show when aimed level it hits the target at the same elevation. Unfortunately for them, the light goes 15 feet above the mark. They make up an excuse that there must have been weeds or something in the way.

Overall, the video does a great job showing the lengths these people go to in order to reinforce and hold on tight to their beliefs, while not making fun of them but simply letting them shoot themselves in the foot over and over.

Awful characters and acting
30 October 2016
I couldn't get even 30 minutes into the first episode before turning it off.

Here's what I saw:

Late night in a graveyard, bodies start digging their way out of graves. A young man calls the police. One officer arrives, finds several naked people wandering around, some with minor injuries. He immediately starts handing out blankets and loading people into his vehicle. Does he seem concerned or try and figure out what is going on? Nope, blankets and a ride into town.

Next scene is in the medical clinic he took them to. Once cleaned up he realizes one woman is his deceased girlfriend of 2 years. He is just slightly confused at this moment but hey, just another day on the job otherwise. The doctor is even less concerned that the dead are rising, she's going to get more blankets.

Now, we go back to the graveyard and there's one risen guy (the obvious bad guy) who didn't get a ride back to town (but luckily he did get a blanket). He's going to walk in town and most assuredly get up to no good. No idea what happened afterwards since it was too terrible to continue.
