Lists
An error has ocurred. Please try againPS: my criteria is not just the technical quality of the anime, but also my feelings for it, as obvious with some anime include, so, rather than saying it's subjective, I'd say I just judge on how well the anime transpasses emotions and messages it aims for.
I try to keep them in a "most favorite" order, choosing with both emotion and logic, but it's just so hard, so don't take the order very seriously. It's a favorite list after all, from the first to the last title they are all my precious chosen ones (catch that double reference)
PS I watch a lot of films, so I'd say trust my opinion, but then again, everything is subjective. I include movies from many different cinemas, sooo enjoy!

Sasmos (2021)
gripping & thrilling
It's only 4 episodes in and I'm already obsessed. The performance of every singe actor and actress is unbelievable, script and direction on point, visuals are pretty good and so is the music. Everything is very promising and the story is so interesting, everytime after a new episode I wish I could binge the show.
Far from the Madding Crowd (2015)
falsely embellished
This movie has amazing music, scenery, clothing, good actors... yet it made me feel nothing. Pace was too fast and character development was of low quality. As a viewer, I did not feel at all attached to any of the characters, nor did I sympathise with them, which comes in contradiction with the fact that they're supposed to be tragic. We see their hardships but they pass by indifferently, as the movie, in my experience, fails to "touch" the viewer. I have not read the book, nevertheless, having seen the trailer and the ratings, I had some high expectations that the movie failed to come up to.
Given (2019)
My God what an emotional bomb
I just binged watched this and let me just say, even though I'm still excited since I finished it 15 minutes ago, I don't think I've ever been this touched in an anime before. It builds up the tension and then when it explodes it leaves you speechless. I loved every minute. I strongly recommend it.
