Seen a lot of movies and seen movies evolve.
What i don't accept, some kid compairing old movies to new standards.
And if they are 60yrs old and also do that? In my book you act like a kid so same rule applies.
A lot of "critics" think they know...Newsflash...make your own movie and put it on IMDB.
Movies are entertainment, not science.
Want a good story? Search, but do not be an ass and think you're better then filmmakers until you yourself produced and written en directed a film.
Don't like my BIO? Truth hurts, doesn't it?

In from the Cold (2022)
Don't be a sheep, view it yourself, it's not that bad.
So i read some reviews, if one writes "after 10 minutes, blabla and after 20 minutes bla bla bla", that says more about the critic then the series.
Is this series realistic? NO.
If the main caracter has al these tricks? Bye bye CIA..and ended after episode one, but that is not the intention..It's entertainment, not a documentary.
Is it diffrent? Hell yeah, and not really a cold war spy story like "the Americans". Just keep your mind open.
If you like it? Keep watching. Don't like it? Good, then go get some icecream instead of asking for attention.
This series is like food, some like it en some don't, it's that simple, make up your own mind!.
Ava (2020)
It has an "Anna" vibe without the Luc besson fantasy.
I like "besson" films, but also i like films.
Some like horror, some i see, but mostly don't, does that make me rant about them? bash the movie into the ground because it is not my cuppa tea? Call it respect.
About this movie
There's action, there's dissapointment.
Some reviewers think they have the power of knowledge, but i doubt them.
So i watched, I loved the "reality", that's lately in more movies.
That the main character, is badass and isn't.
I watched it till the end, and yes it is worth my time.
It is not a Marvel movie. It is not a film noir.
It is a movie that could be based on real events.
I liked it, don't care about these amateur critics that start crying after 5minutes, that's not a critic, that's childish, period.
Acting is not triple A, but that's the addition that it made me feel like a portion of realism.
Some scene's look like the person is just stupid, but that is just the thing that happens a lot in real life, doesn't it?
The only negative i could write is, it is a "watch at home" movie, but that's also a plus for me.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018)
Is it that bad? here's what i think.
I read the reviews, i see the stars and i'm surprized how many reviews are not that positive.
Agreed that some of the critic points are valid, i did bother at the editing with the blur (watch it and you know), but after a while, if you keep watching the series, it grows on you and you don't notice it that much anymore.
At some points i see other points that critics mention, but when i dig deep into my life in 1996, i remember the old series. You know, the comedy/kids-teevee kind of series. The "aah, she's cute" series!
Let's be honest, Sabrina looks as if she jumped out of "happy days"
And then i started to look at this serie another way, like it is the old series with a hidden Dark DLC addon.
Some epsiodes feel childish, but isn't that the point to connect to the old Sabrina series, and then put that evil dark twist on to it?
I like the serie, first season was interesting, second season was quite revealing.
Kiernan Shipka gives a damn good Sabrina, she has the cute innocent face of a teenage witch, but has that invisible evil well hidden for the good parts.
"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" is a old fashioned serie from the 80's lived in the 21st century.
