In my opinion, the queerness was done in a much better way than many shows I've watched. Will forever be grateful to this show for revealing selene's existence to me.

I enjoyed it but somewhere around the start of season 3 (I think) I stopped watching, probably bc I was in a 'The Originals' phase and the show's light hearted-ness was not what I expected. I was bored in a lecture one day and started watching again. Now in season 4 it's exactly what I craved from an originals spin off, but i'm still heart-broken that Kaylee has left.

I'm not going to lie I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The format was not like other talent shows and the advice and criticism was actually vocally constructive. My family and I were honestly so gripped hoping our faves would be in the band.
