Stowaway (2021)
The spaceship is too unprepared to be believable.
A launching rocket unaware of a stuck personnel? Can't he inform anybody with a walki talki?
Insufficient oxygen in a space station? No backup device for such a vital part? Why can't they make some from water?
They didn't even pick a best moment for the space walk! It looks like the crew is a joke with nobody but amateurs.
The captain has no idea what her engineer is up to till they are in space already.
The captain involves irrelevant staff member for critical decision making.
A staff member makes a captain's decision without her knowledge.
In the end Zoe can commit a suicide in a much more painless way when she choose to be swollen by radiation.
I'm no professional, but the movie is more a joke than of sci-fi.
Snowfall (2017)
Anyone else thinks the acting of Franklin doesn't fit in?
It feels like the actor is forcing a sinister smile always... and forcing a deep evil satan voice always... I think the acting works best in a crime-themed comedy, which the first 5 episodes of Snowfall S1 are mostly like. But the show has changed. Till this day there have been 3 seasons, Franklin is no longer the errand boy who always has the luck to have the last smile, which is the most suitable role for the guy.
Snowfall: Hedgehogs (2019)
I love Andro!
Spoiler alert!
His role as a sad father is so appealing! He's right become the reason I love the show!
Cloak & Dagger (2018)
A good teenage story
** SPOILER ALERT**
It's a sweet story reminding me of sweet teenage years. Don't compare it with other super heroes on the wagon. Accept it as teenage drama. Powers of the two is metaphor of rediscovery of themselves in puberty, both body and soul. Joining hands literally hints the two being together.
Storyline is somewhat not convincing. Of course it is traumatizing to lose the important one in life. But they say time solves everything. It's hard to believe it's the same traumatizing after 8 years. They don't ever move on, do they? But I'm not whining. Actually it's the best part. It's exactly what teenagers might do. They need someone to spot personal uniqueness. They want a shoulder to cry on. Many may not find the story appealing, but it very accurately depicts teenager mindset in my pov.
Acting is fine. Quite hilarious to find they even bring in zombies. When Ty was accusing in the face of Conner I doubt why Conner didn't grab his collar and beat his black out of him. lol. In my mind I kept saying "keep distance kid..." I love watching the 2 talking. These sappy brooding teenagers are very relatable to me. I miss those days.
I'm giving a 9 star, and am looking forward to the next season. Hope it's not going to change to please critical ears.
Atlanta: Teddy Perkins (2018)
Teddy reminds me of MJ
I've been wondering if the episode is about Michael Jackson.... his appearance, voice.... the sad tone....an abused childhood...
