The movie feels fresh. Loved the direction. The story is kind of unique and felt good. Story can get a little too predictable but nevertheless well shot. Its not a thriller to have a unpredicatable end. No overaction by the kids too! Some scenes gets over dramatic but they are too short and not dragged by songs etc... Otherwise many life scenarios are captured in a natural way. The lead role Manav has done an excellent acting. He is the charm of the movie. Genelia adds more excitement on te screen too. The neighbor uncle and aunty have done a great job. Overall good time pass I enjoyed it. Its a fun watch with family.

This story is based on yester years. And the lifestyle, thinking, of people has been captured perfectly. Wow how the human emotions has been enacted by every actor is truly amazing. There are suspense bits in the movie too which was a good reveal towards the end. The fun of college days along with enemity , unity and other range of emotions has been displayed splendidly. The direction is very nice , and every actor has done a great role. At no point I felt that any actore could have done better in that situation. Remids me of the stories narrated by my parents, (movie story falls under same era)It was just like that. No big dramas but feels like a true tale. Loved it. Must watch.

Being a bengalooru girl ,I loved this movie. So peaceful. Thats how the city was back in those days. The movie has captured eveything in perfection , the houses with red oxide flooring, those vintage pickle jars, those cycles , uniforms, hairstyles, And the list in endless. And also the 'thinking' of people at large as been captured exactly. No excessive dramas displayed. Perfect naturalistic reactions to life's situations. The acting of everyone is brilliant. You wont be rolling on the floor with laughter. But there a lot of punch comedy dialogs which will make ones heart smile. This movie remineded me of how much life has changed after materialism crept in.. Loved it to bits. Must watch for all those wo are long timers in bengalooru ,not that others shouldnt watch, But I mean this way one can relate more to whats happening on screen .

The comedy in the first half of story is really good. More of comedy. Second half the comedy reduces. Some dialoges are really nice. Lead actor acted very well. His dad acted well too. Nice Timepass movie.

This story is a no drama relaxed story. Nice acting. The best part is the story does take a natural turn and does nkt twist like in drama movies.

Nothing artificial , a very simple (love)story of a girl narrated by herself. Her dialogues are excellent, one must listen to it in the original language it was written (kannada). translated dialogues may not give the punch. Some moments her dialogues send a chill down the spine. A 1990's kid who has done schooling in Karnataka will relate to many other aspects of the film like lekhak notebook,those uniforms,buses,landline phones,teachers -the way they spoke.I felt terribly sad about the ending. I think one of the take away from this movie is to have love for any person but not attachment.

Beautiful acting by everyone. For example the maths teacher who has such a small role also has acted wonderful and his dialoges are excellent too. the naturalness of the characters is retained throughout the movie. Kudos!

Only a Bangalorean will get the pulse of the movie. Its completely shot in Bangalore and one who lives here will get the storyline. I will not even mention which situation of Bangalore is the base of this movie, it can spoil the thrill. Brilliantly taken, acting is superb. No nonsense dialogues/scenes. Superb kannada movie. Shraddha and everyone did awesome job.

The movie runs long ! And at times we feel its very slow. But that exactly how the life of the people in the story is. Very touching and lovely acting. The locations are superb. To understand the story one much subtly understand the emotions of the characters.

One must know kannads to understand the punxh in the dialogues. Story is quite imple , but the way one dialogue leads to the other and the conversation is set up is simply fantastic. Lovely scenes. The sctors did a great job. Not too much drama. Loved it. Complete entertainment.

I love everything about this movie. The way its shot , the way pople acted, the story, dialogues everything! The story can be tricky ,watch carefully and once one undertands it , its superb.

I love the way this nostalgic story is portrayed in this movie. Its difficult for everyone to like it, some one with a similar story will relate to it more. Lovely acting by the lead actors, especially Bhavana. Fantastic dialogues , acting everything.

I watched it with no expectations and I liked it. Not a great story and nothing classy with the comedy either but all together I enjoyed watching it. One must be knowing kannada well to catch the jokes and also have a little bit of 'yester years kannada cinema actors' background to catch the jokes. I like Nirup Bhandaris acting! First half was more natural compared to second.

I loved watching this movie.. Many thrillers there will be too may scenes which are too much of a coincidence. But here it was not like that , it was very natural. Well the actors did a great job. I love the fact that the simple lead actor(male) has shown his simplicity throughout in action , expression everything. Also the usage of language (Kannada) is very natural, many movies there will be too many artificial (bookish) words used for strong dialog. But here local slang is used very aptly. Also there is not too much drama involved. My most favorite part is there are no dreamy songs.The songs give a good meaning and are apt for the scenes. Many Indian films are full of dreams romantic songs which personally I do not like.
