Big Momma's House is a movie very similar to Kindergarten Cop starring Arnold Schwarzennegger. When you mention the name in front of a person who's seen it, they'll get confused with the storyline. Did some cop pretend to be a kindergarten teacher? Or did a cop pretend to be a fat old lady? The movie is about a cop called Malcolm, played by Martin Lawrence, who is sent undercover to protect a witness, Sherry and her son from her boyfriend, who is a killer and hid some million dollars where no-one can find it. Malcolm reckons Sherry has the money. But to prove it, he has to go through very funny and totally ridiculous situations.

If you're a Martin Lawrence fan, he won't disappoint you in this movie. People who have heard of this movie but don't want to watch it, you'll be surprised, how many times you'll laugh. In fact when the movie finishes, you'll start imitating some funny things that Malcolm did in the movie, and laugh your head off. This movie won't disappoint you. I nearly guarantee it.

The Witches was originally a book written by Roald Dahl and published somewhere in the 1980s. I read the book and enjoyed it. But the movie...

It's better than the book!!! So what exactly is it about? Well, a boy called Luke, learns that there are witches on the planet. Witches who hate little children. Witches who want them destroyed. His grandmother tells him that the Witches have one meeting every year, to think up of plans how to rid children off the face of the Earth! One day, Luke and his grandmother go to a hotel. The plan was simple. They were supposed to have a good time and relax. Instead, Luke accidentally stumbles into a meeting room where the friendly ladies from the RSPCC (royal society to prevention of cruelty to children) are supposed to have their meeting. but, Luke soon finds out, they're not the RSPCC... they're the witches! And so Luke overhears their horrible plan (to rid children from the planet, of course).

When, the meeting is over and Luke is about to exit, one witch finds him, and turns him into a mouse! Luke knows what he has to do. He has to stop the witches' plan from happening. That however proves to be difficult as mouse have 2 deadly enemies. Cats and humans. Will Luke stop the witches? Sounds interesting, huh? Well, once you finish watching this movie, you'll want to watch it again and again! You'll love it! Rating; 6/10

This movie simply impressed me. I know it's not a good start to a commentary, but I've just been bursting to say (type) these words and can't possibly submit the comment without them.

The plot is very imaginative and the order of all the events in the movie simply has to be praised. The movie starts when Will Bloom visits his dying father one last time to get all the answers about his life from him. As his father, Edward Bloom, only told him fairy tales-and nothing but-about his life. Will is desperate to get the answers before he dies... and the answers are far more interesting than he expected.

As I said before, this movie simply impressed me. I've read the script and am trying hard to get the book written by Daniel Wallace. This is Tim Burton's finest movie, better than Edward Scissorhands and the rest. Well done, Tim! Well done Ewan! Well done whoever watched this movie! Well done whoever enjoyed it! Rating: 8/10

Beware of the Automobile. What would a Russian say when you mentioned it in front of him? I'm a Russian myself and I know. When someone mentions the movie's name, the other person would go babbling on about the storyline, every single detail from start to end. He would imitate highly enjoyed moments in the highly enjoyed film. He would repeat memorable quotes (which sound funnier in Russian). And he would go asking everyone if they knew interesting facts about the interesting film.

With non-Russians, however... well, to be honest I don't know. I have this movie on VHS in Russian and I never showed to an English speaking person before, but I think that even some non-Russian people will be fascinated by this film. I certainly am. I watch this movie whenever I get the chance. And I always love it, no matter how many times I've watched it.

The director, Eldar Ryazanov is a highly-loved Russian director and has directed a lot of classical Russian films, not one which I don't like. Go Ryazanov! Go Beware of the Automobile! Go whoever watched this film! Go whoever enjoyed it! Rating: 10/10

Bad Boys 2... what can one say about it? well, put it this way, it's much much better than the first and has one of the best car chases in history.

Will Smith and martin Lawrence are two cops have a lot in common, especially their attitude, are sent to investigate the a Cuban drug smuggler who smuggles drugs in America. What a wild, surprising and funny time they have! I know the storyline doesn't sound very convincing, but, this movie is not 'okay' as most people put... it's the action movie of the year! The storyline is, as I said, probably not very convincing and that lots of movie have been made like that and you think that you've seen every on of them...

But if you watch this movie, you'll be really, really surprised. The director, Michael Bay, is one of my favorites and this movie is one of his action masterpieces.

Back to the Future is a movie I can guarantee you will enjoy. It starts off when Marty McFly gets into a lot of trouble. Including with his girlfriend and school (are you surprised?!). But then Marty realizes, his best friend, a scientist who he calls 'doc', just invented a time machine... and guess what? It actually works! But then something happens. When he is about to go to the year 1955, doc is shot by Libyain terrorists from whom he stole plutonium, the liquid that makes the time machine work. Without any choices, Marty scrambles into the car and... finds himself in the year 1955. But the story doesn't end there. Marty accidentally stops his parents (who were teenagers then) from meeting and falling in love with each other, and puts his life at risk. Because if his parents never met, that means that they never had any children. And if Marty doesn't get to get his parents to meet each other.. it means that him and his brothers will simply disappear off the face of the earth. Also, Marty and the young doc encounter another problem. Marty needs to get back to the future, and he can't as plutonium was barely known in the 1950s. So how will he do it? See and find out! This movie is simply cool. Not only is it funny, it also has an excellent script and dialog. I like the cast and the characters and I also liked the set decoration. Nearly everything about this movie is good. However, you have to pay full attention at the start to understand what happens later. But that doesn't spoil it. Rating: 7.5/10

Around the world in 80 days is the perfect adventure/comedy/romance movie. For those who put this movie in their wish list won't be disappointed. it's better than the old one (which won a best picture Oscar) and you will find that you won't be able to look away from the screen while watching it, because it's just jam packed with scenes everybody loves. The actors are well picked and I just loved the script and the dialog. I especially loved Arnold Schwarzenegger and the character he played and what happened to him. I liked the guy who played Phileas Fogg, (whatever his name is) and i liked the woman. Although, the movie is way different than the book (which I read and enjoyed as well) written by the classic author Jules Verne, this movie simply cannot be hated. I don't know what critics say, but whoever said 'nay' for this movie, obviously does not like adventure/comedy/romance movies. I already expressed my thoughts for this movie so here's the rating: 6.5/10

Armageddon is a movie that comedy lovers will like. Its also a movie that sci-fi lovers will hate. And its also a movie that will have action lovers saying 'Er.. not too bad.. its okay..yeah' Some scenes in Armageddon are totally funny. And some are totally idiotic. Some scenes you'll just snort at, and sometimes you'll find yourselves looking at your nails in boredom. The advantages of this movie is that it will alert space lovers out there how deep the real danger of an asteroid falling to space really is. I've already said that other advantages is that it'll make you laugh. Now for the disadvantages. The plot. Its a bit dumb. i'm not going to spoil it for you, but you'll see what I mean when you watch it. Some scenes are boring and In-necessary. Thats just about all I can say about it. If you want to rent it, I've mentioned the advantages and disadvantages. Rating: 4/10
