Love the concept, love the show. I like how they bring in experienced and inexperienced armored fighters to show how challenging the sport is.

However it's pretty clear to me that there are always 2 competitors that the judges want to see in the finale. They always end up on the same team instead of making the 2v2 round more balanced.

I'm going to start off by saying I have no knowledge of the series outside of the anime, so for those of you let down by this webtoon adaptation, I apologize. To me a show is all about how invested it is able to get you in the characters, and the story. Every episode we learn more and more about our many characters, without too much spoon fed back story. The dynamic of the characters give me major Hunter x Hunter vibes which is a great thing in my book. At the end of each episode I always find myself wishing I could hit the "next episode" button, and with the current global situation, a binge worthy show is worth its weight in (insert something you value here).

Let me start off by saying I am a big fan of the Pokémon series, so for me it would be hard to sway from a movie featuring talking Pikachu. However, my is not as much of a die hard fan, and was a bit of a skeptic going into it. The way they incorporated the Pokémon into the world is what I was most curious about how they would pull off, and I must say they did a great job! It made the younger me very happy! My wife and I were both laughing throughout the whole movie. The humor was witty, the plot was decent, and the feels were there! I was a bit curious about Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu, but thought he pulled the part off great! Definitely worth a see for all fans of the series, or just for those interested in a fun movie.

Really enjoyed the characters and the story of this one. With the exception of "season 2" not a lot of filler, with a good amount of action, comedy, and story progression in each episode. The sexualization of some of the female characters is a little much for me, but it's not enough to hinder from the show itself. Definitely worth a watch.

I started watching this show from a recommendation from someone I usually have similar media taste with. I gave it a shot, and HATED it. I couldn't stand Jaden's voice acting, and didn't really click with the plot. However there were a couple intelligent jokes that I found humorous, so I decided to try another episode. Am I glad I did! Once you get passed you irrational, yet somehow justified hatred for Jaden, you begin to enjoy the show for what it is; a witty, satirical delightful show. It reminds me of a Magical Gentleman Archer. The writing is thoughtful and the supporting voice actors do a great job in their roles. If you immediately turned it off after you heard Jaden for the first 5 minutes, like I did the first time, give it another shot and I bet you'll laugh a couple times.

I would imagine that most of the negative reviews on here didn't make it too far into the series. I have to admit, for the first few episodes I found Asta's screaming a little overbearing. However with that being said, I am very glad I continued to give the show a chance, as I have found that either his yelling to calm down, or the greatness of the rest of the show has outbalanced it for me. Either way I have found the show to be very enjoyable and worth a watch.
