Mr. Robot: 405 Method Not Allowed (2019)
This is art, Mr. Esmail!
Only after watching it to the end did I realize that only two sentences were spoken for the whole duration of the episode.
I was completely immersed.
Absolutely stunning and beautiful cinematography.
This is art, Mr. Esmail!!
The hacking was well done as always, but now it was maybe pushing it too much on the *unbelievable* side, because without extensive prior recon not even Elliot could pull this off. But eh, it's still the greatest show ever, arguably better than GoT and BB.
The Exorcist: Chapter One: And Let My Cry Come Unto Thee (2016)
Did not expect it to be THAT good, I was a bit skeptical at first, the trailer is okay but the episode is great.
The atmosphere is eerie and filthy evil-like, REC. like - if not better.
I watched all the seasons of Supernatural, and in first few seasons were great demons and possessions, all looked very grim. But this show? Very violent, I like it. A boy breaks his spine and then proceeds to break his neck by twisting his head back. A girl at the end is also extremely scary.
You cant see any cheap actors in the episode, no bullshit replicas in conversations, all is very rational and polished. Actually I did not get the weird feeling of repulsion I get with shows like Gotham, Lucifer or Strain. This show is no joke. Its made by professionals.
I am definitely looking forward for new episodes.
Supernatural: Alpha and Omega (2016)
Supernatural used to be hardcore. Demons. Death. Blood. Grim horror. Now it is pigeons, flowers, holding hands, talking and feelings. And family arguments.
Here are season finales in short, compare it with this season..
Season 1: Yellow eyed demon possesses Dad. Azazel escapes Dad's body. Then Dad, Dean and Sam are in a car crash with a truck.
Season 2: Dean kills Azazel with The Colt, on a cemetery on a stormy rainy night when gates of Hell are open and ghosts and demons are flying around.
Season 3: Dean is killed by Hell Hounds, because he made a deal with a crossroads demon to revive his brother. Dean goes to Hell.
Season 4: Sam breaks the last seal by killing Lilith with his demon powers and sets Lucifer free, then Dean and Sam kill Ruby. Castiel saves them from incoming explosion.
Season 5: Sam is possessed by Lucifer and is killing Dean. Castiel and Bobby try to stop him, but Lucifer kills them both. Sam sees a toy in their car, which reminds him of his love to his brother and helps him to take his body back. Sam, Lucifer and Michael jump into Lucifer's cage. Castiel is revived.
Season 6: Castiel plays on God. Next season lets Leviathan into our world.
Season 7: Dean kills Dick, the main Leviathan. The blood sends them both into Purgatory.
Season 8: Sam tries to close the Gates of Hell forever, but fails. Angels fall from the heaven.
Season 9: Metatron kills Dean. Mark of Cain saves him and turns Dean into a demon. Episode ends with Dean opening his eyes. Black.
Season 10: Dean has to kill Sam, a price he has to pay to The Death. But he kills The Death with his Scythe. Dean gets rid of the Mark of Cain and sets Darkness upon this world.
Season 11: Amara learns what a love is from watching pigeons and listening to 2 sentences from an old lady. Darkness and God talk. Emotional feelings. Dean watches Amara and Chuck hold hands. They fly into heaven. Dean and Sam just fought alongside with Gods, but some random British blonde shoots Sam. Amara revives their Mother.
Very tame season finale, build for girls used to watch telenovelas. Cringy cliffhangers. Boring episode.
Supernatural: We Happy Few (2016)
An episode from a delusional script writer. Horrible camera. I am disgusted.
air date rating: 95%. Seriously?! Something shady is going on here, last 5 episodes simply must be botted. This rating is impossible from rationally thinking viewers.
This has to be one of the worst episodes yet. And you are comparing it with Swan Song, where Sam won over Lucifer.
There were so many illogical things in this episode it would take me an hour to write it all, most obvious are things people stated before: some nameless witches stagger Amara - Lucifer used God hand and did not even stagger her, and he is an archangel. Witches are human.
That ridiculous fight Amara showed us when she tried punching demon fog with her hands. Most pathetic fight in history of SN? She was badly wounded and God was at full health and power. She had absolutely no chance against him. Yet she 'killed' him, that leads us to another paradox - Gods are immortal. Chuck cannot die. He is equally powerful as Amara. Yet she KO'd him.
What are Sam and Dean doing in a battle against Gods? That is simply absurd.
Comical sound effects in the end, when they showed faces of Sam and Dean. Made me laugh. That sound effect and type of cut does not belong in SN.
Badly done editing and style of cuts in the 'montage' scene, where they tried to handle multiple places and time lines at once. Very badly done and confusing. Kindergarten kid could cut the scenes better.
That is about it, I barely managed to get through the episode. I was disgusted.
