Inside (2016 Video Game)
10/10
Genious
20 August 2018
In 100 years time I believe people will regard video games and movies on the same level as art and literature; this would place Inside as a true masterpiece in art. The games audio, the visuals, the vague and yet powerful storytelling, it's all perfect. Sidescrollers might bore a lot of people but I ask any of these people to give this game a try because it will blow you away.

I like it but...
20 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I like this game, I really do but I can't lie and say it's as good as people hype it up to be. It took me about 2 hours to get to the interesting parts of the game and I was tempted to quit on many occasions but kept playing cause I had some time and the reviews were good so I hoped it would change soon. Once the game actually changed from its facade it improved massively. My main problem is that the game is really slow to start, then it peaks and I was happy that it got better, then it drops again and I wasn't really satisfied with the last hour or so as well. Not to be too harsh but the peak itself was extremely predictable and yet people were acting like it was the most unexpected thing since the plot twist in The Usual Suspects. Now I'm just going I say before people get annoyed at my review, I do not hate this game. The parts of the game that were interesting made up for the parts that were extremely boring, however once it drops its outer image it decides to put it back on again and lose what made it interesting.

Another thing, people treat some of this game like its extremely unique and never been done before, however I hate to tell people it has been done before not too long ago in the form of Undertale. I mean yeah it isn't identical but there is a LOT i can see that is almost exactly the same.

The reason I rated it 7/10 rather than 6/10 is that it was free and that was the perfect price for it. In the end I didn't mind spending a few hours on it and did enjoy it but I can't deny that I feel very unsatisfied and have to say it is more of a ride along than a game.

SCP: Containment Breach (2012 Video Game)
10/10
Terrifying
3 April 2018
This has to be one of the scariest games ever created. Don't let its simple gameplay and lack of quality as far as graphics go. It's dark and dystopian atmosphere creates the perfect setting for the SCP foundation that we know so little yet fear so much. Everything is dangerous, trust no one; especially stay clear of *redacted*. Secure, Contain, Protect.

Different
3 April 2018
There's nothing in this game that's even remotely similar to the big £50 blockbusters that get pumped out every year. Every step you take you can feel the quality and care, from the echoes in the distance to the stunning visuals that make the games uniquely dark and dystopian atmosphere. No one speaks, no one helps, no one understands; but they don't need to. If you ever have spare time, play through this, maybe even twice, three times even. Uncover the secrets hidden in every hole and realise that not everything is as it seems. Most of all, never feel like your on your own, cause you may not be... most of the time.

Undertale (2015 Video Game)

A game that kept me going
4 June 2016
I don't believe I have come across a game before that I can not fault it on a single thing. The music suits every setting the player comes across, the characters are unique and have a magnificent design, the gameplay is brilliant, and the humour is the best I've seen in a game for a long time.

This game has the ability to keep the player occupied for days or maybe even weeks, with its multiple endings and choices that actually effect every aspect of the game, be it the surroundings or the way the game ends, or even the way the characters speak to you. By the end of the game you become so attached to the characters (if you don't do the genocide run that is) that you will not want any of them to go away, making you come back to the game regularly to find its hidden secrets, which there are many, and play the game again to be heartbroken of you chose another root.

Overall, Undertale will go down as one of my favourite games of all time ( I know the soundtrack will) and I extremely recommend buying or watching the game.

Get into the story
4 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
My main point about this game is that, it's gameplay may at times seem very repetitive, and the community has overdone the game a bit. But the story behind this and the other games are so superbly brilliant that I do not want anyone to miss out on it. If you can get past the gameplay and see under the game to the storyline, I can bet you will find it just as good as I do!

If you don't want a little spoiler don't read this part

Okay when the story starts the feeling of helplessness grows so much and it eventually turned to anger against not the animatronics, but the purple man (the killer). Scott has managed to hide the identity of this character, and not given is many options to who he is, not to mention he is in every game except the first one cause it doesn't have mini games. If you've seen the game you know what happens to him and that it is truly satisfying as you cause it to happen. Even after the games 'conclusion' in FNAF3, there's still stuff to find and secrets to uncover. Overall a great game, and well worth the money.
