Suicide Squad (2016)
Could've been WAY better.
This movie was just such a disappointment to me. I don't expect every movie to be perfect, but I do at the least want a movie that isn't expecting me to focus on more that three things at once at the BEGINNING. Are we supposed to focus more on the squads problems in prison, or focus on what the villain is planning. It would be less of a problem if they had multiple scenarios happening at once in the middle of the movie so they have enough time to explain what's happening, instead of shoving it all in the beginning. That's enough of that problem, oh but don't worry, there are TONS of flaws in this movie. Another problem is the Joker's design, IT'S HIDEOUS. Why do they give him such a bad hair style? Why is his eye makeup so THIN, and why is his lipstick not spread out to his cheeks like they are in the heath ledger movie? He's just so ugly looking. Another FATAL problem at the end is when Diablo dies, NO ONE acknowledges it, you can't have someone sacrifice themselves and then have no one acknowledge that, that just makes it REALLY painfully unneeded. One last flaw I need to mention is that the villain who's called The Witch is just not a good villain. Ascetically she looks fine, but her dialogue is just plain BAD. At the end of the movie I just felt disappointed. What saves this movie from being worse is how wonderfully entertaining the Suicide Squad themselves were, particularly Harley Quinn. She was my favorite character. However it just wasn't enough. Entertaining characters mixed with cringe worthy dialogue doesn't equal a good movie.
SpongeBob SquarePants: To Love a Patty/Breath of Fresh Squidward (2007)
Breath of fresh Squidward...
This is my least favorite episode of SpongeBob Squarepants by far. I'm really surprised that it's not mentioned by other people, because this is a special kind of terrible. I loathe this episode SO MUCH, that It made me stop watching this show for a very long time. The beginning starts with Spongebob and Patrick in Squidward's house while he's sleeping. (Stalker alert!). When he wakes up he asks what happens if they intrude in his house, and Spongebob literally repeats what happens saying "When we annoy Squidward a rain cloud storms over his brain cells and it needs to shelter itself." I'm paraphrasing, but that means that Spongebob KNOWS that he's causing grief to Squidward, but doesn't care. So, Squidward builds a electric fence to keep Spongebob and Patrick out, but there already inside, so as Squidward tries to leave the fence electrocutes him and he starts to act like Spongebob. So in a house party when Squidward gets tons of respect, Spongebob literally yells at him and drives him out of the party. (I hate this sponge). So when Spongebob goes to "apologize" to Squidward the electric fence shocks them all and everyone's personality changes to Squidward. Even when I was younger I've always hated this episode with a burning passion. It was worse than One Course Meal, Pet Sitter Pat, A Pal for Gary, Demolition Doofus, and even Choir Boys. As of today, this is my least favorite SpongeBob Squarepants Episode.
Chicken Little (2005)
Why, Disney?!
This might be a controversial opinion, but I loathe this movie in every way. The CG is badly colored, the characters are horrible, spiteful, and VERY unlikable. Never in a Disney movie have I ever felt such a mean-spirited vibe.
This is BY A MILE the absolute worst movie from Disney. The moral is horrible, it teaches kids that you need to assault the unpopular, throw things at them, and neglect them to be cool.
Chicken Little's father is a awfully made character, he neglects his child and publicly embarrasses him. You know what? I hate EVERYTHING about this movie, from the characters, to the message, to the lazy animation. Please Disney, stick to movies with good morals and likable characters to avoid piles of garbage like this.
Steven Universe (2013)
Best CN show ever! Steven Universe
Honestly how could this NOT be such a great show, when Rebecca Sugar (one of the writers of Adventure Time) created it. Adventure Time may be a great show, but this show is beyond better. The show has lovable and relatable characters.
The animation is amazing, the story arcs are usually perfect, the settings are excellent and unique. The only other show I can compare the emotional depth and flawlessly animated elegance to, is Gravity Falls. They both have great quality, and likable characters.
I love how Peridot turned from an evil alien that came to invade earth, to a friendly and fun character that tries to protect the earth. The show always keeps getting better and better by each season, the characters are improving and getting even more sophisticated than ever.
This is by far my favorite show from Cartoon Network, and one of my favorite cartoons of all time.
