It's obvious that Nicole Kidman roll was written really for a man, and to make it tough and destroyed Kidman only managed to looks boring when she is old. Terribly bad directed, poor Nicole. The story is pretentious but very doll. We never really undertood why was she so destroyed. Unbelievable. And AGAIN, a teenage daughter, rebellious and unbearable, for the main leading character (a father now a mother), is the trend now. Enough, please stop making boring, pretencoius pc movies, you are going to kill the benevolent audience, and we´ll stop watching movies

This is a really excellent thriller. Very well constructed, played and developed. Crude and strangely believable. No stupid pc narratives. It doesn't treat us watcher like infants

Perfect timing and mood. Real serious and talented approach to a sociopathic mind No useless excesses, very common in modern films, and that make it more crude and appealing.

Julianne Moore in decent films is ok, but without the caring of a big production it shows that she is a minor actress. The film is awful, full of cliches, bad actors, and a terrile rhythm. I couldn´t get to the end, don´t waste your time on it

This film revives the good film making of thriller and spy movies.

It modernize the clasical spy movies. Jennifer Lawrence has become the best actress in decades, and she is more beautifull than ever.

I feel sorry for those who can´t aprriciate the quality and inteligence of the film, and worst for the ones that make moral puritan comments against the film.

The world is not Disneyland and films and books are for entretement and for discover diffrent situations and environments, not to stay between our protected narrow view of the world

No one point this outragious plagiarism of this french film with the wonderfull Lino Ventura. Not a condescending film, first of all. A crude and vigorous story of justice, revenge and friendship. Simply a great and simple movie, the best we can get.

The power of real problems and the way this kids confront them is a lesson and a refreshment from all the sweetened films you are use to see. Is a dynamic, crude and endearing film

Is the worst Poirot picture ever filmed. Hercule Poirot is completely misunderstood by Kenneth Branagh. Is dull, thin, melodramatic, almost stupid, has a girlfriend, he fights!, he cried and sobbed!

And the script is all wrong for a Christie's story or any thriller whatsoever. Like if the writer did not read a single Christies novel before writing the script

It anticipate the conclusion. It jumps to the evidence with no method. You have no surprise at all, because is like an spoiler all the time. OK that is a very famous novel, and has very famous films, but you can spot the end since the middle of the film. Is terribly boring.

They want to be very politically correct, so they are many thing that are out of time, character and remarks impossible at that time. Is ridiculous. No rigor at all. Is not a serious effort. Poor Agatha Christie.

The other actors are terribly wasted. Judie Dench, Olivia Colman, Derek Jacobi, Willem Defoe wasted.

But, of course, lots of special effects by computer, that add nothing to the film, and a lot of takes for Branagh that has no respect to Hercule Poirot
