The Intruder (II) (2005)
2/10
Hard to hear the dialogue
27 January 2021
It was too dark and hard to hear the dialogue when the other girl showed up. We still don't know who the intruder was. Was it a boyfriend or an obsessive stranger. The ending was meant to be a twist, but again it was too dark and you couldn't hear what they were saying, so it was hard to be surprised by anything.

Watch the rated R version instead
20 December 2020
This is a complete waste of time. The Rated R version is the true thriller and the leading actress is really put through hell, not his sugar coated one made for 9th graders.

Great movie. Gives a more balanced look leading up to the murders
2 January 2020
Usually the movies are so anti-OJ, it is no sense in watching them as they would make him look like a raging lunatic who foams at the mouth, but made Nichole look like an angel from heaven.

This movies was well balanced, showing them both as humans with their own faults.

Now we know why the glove didn't fit, but I can't tell you why or it would spoil the ending. This is a MUST SEE! I would give it a higher rating, if it had a bigger budget.

The Bad Seed (2018 TV Movie)

Slightly different than the original
11 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
But when isn't it? Everyone played their roles, albeit with some changes than the original. The little girl was spot on, had this been done about ten years earlier, the girl who played in "The Orphan" would have been perfect also. I nearly spat my drink out when the psychiatrist, who played the original 1956 little girl, to her father that she was okay and was EXACTLY like her, when she was her age. LOL

Lowe decided to go a different direction at the end, but all in all, the movies wasn't bad and the girl was just as evil and crafty as the original.

I only now learned there was 1985 version, but will probably see that another time.

Sorry but I liked it
27 May 2018
I know that the "in" thing to do now is to complain in the direction that the franchise is going, and that it is more Kathleen's SJW project than anything else.

While there is evidence to support the last part, I won't dwell on it but might come back to say something later.

Look, It was a good Solo origin story, that was also brought along the beginnings of how he met Chewy and Lando. All in all it was done very well. Much better than Force Awakens or Last Jedi, but on par with Rogue One. There were great battles, good chases and even an appearance from Maul. Of course I thought he died in Phantom Menace, I have been corrected that the animated TV show Clone Wars found a way to bring him back.

Anyway go see if it and put money in Kathleen's pockets and support her agenda, or wait until you can watch it online. If you have kids, then most likely they whined you into paying for it. Like mine did.

Now, I don't have a problem with strong women in movies. I think most men really like feme fatales, mostly because they are hot and they can kick ass. But I think there is a line between natural Feme Fatales and SJW types that are forced on us.

Putting a woman in a lead role simply because you want a woman to fill it, is unnatural and fans will sense it immediately. In Kathleen's favor, Princess Leia was indeed a firecracker and already knew how to fire laser gun. We can assume, that having been brought up as a Rebel Princess she had no choice. But she didn't know how to fly anything or wield a light sabre.

In the last four Star Wars movies, for some reason men had to be either idiots or severely flawed, in order for the women to be seen as strong. Lando's female Robot, was clearly and SJW plot device. Complete with wide hips for "birthing" and a sassy attitude, that makes black nurses in movies look docile.

We all know Ren was a Mary Sue, who never had any experience flying anything other than the common floating cycle, yet learned to fly starships in less than five minutes and how to fight with a light saber just as short a time.

Solo was just as bad. His girl friend, suddenly is a two time slum rat like him, yet the next time they meet she is sophisticated and is able to create several plots of treachery at once, and ended up running one of the most feared galactic mafia families in the Empire. Then we find the leader of a one of most feared bandits in galaxy is actually female.

Kathleen just keeps creating them. Heck Star Wars IX could very well be an all Female cast, much like the trend in Hollywood anyway (Ghostbusters, Oceans 11 etc.).

So that's my rant.

NetForce (1999 TV Movie)
Not bad. Probably was a short series
5 October 2017
I actually found the movie on the web. I thought it was just a one off TV show, but apparently there was at least two episodes. It is worth a watch if you are bored and nothing else is on. It's kind of funny watching head honchos in their 30s and 40s talking hitech gibberish about cyber security and what not. Stuff usually taken on by the younger folks

Party Switching inaccuracy
26 February 2017
It was good up until his revisionist history of the GOP and Democrat switching parties after the passing of the 1964 Civil Right's Act. He lampooned that only a handful switched after the Act was passed, but what he neglected to say was that the change occurred over several elections until the South went completely Republican from Democrat.

Creepy fun
19 July 2016
Sorry but Asylum seems to be getting better. I don't know they are getting better writers or better funding, but it seems that they are becoming more serious about writing and acting.

This movie was obviously a take on Suicide Squad, but I forgot all about that after 30 mins. I was drawn in to the story line. Lots of creepy fairytale villains, very good acting on their parts. Bluebeard's acting was enigmatic, he almost made me he think the part was being played by Clarence Williams III.

The witch was funny as I don't know what. She was sexy and scary at the same time.

I'd say everyone but the actors playing Goldilock, the Wolf and the Pied Pipper did very well in their roles. Alice (in Wonderland) was a hoot. No seriously she was a wacknut meant for the insane asylum, as were they all.

You won't enjoy this film if you walk into it thinking "oh no not another Asylum film", give it a chance. It is a wholesome family movie (only a few curse words and no sex or nudity).
