9-1-1: All Fall Down (2024)
A season and season finale that wasn't 911 worthy
This episode and almost the entire season except for the opener were so underwhelming. I really had high hopes for this season with Tim Minear back as active showrunner, while Kristen Reidel being gone. Not completely gone as seen by this terrible written season finale that was even worse than the season 6 finale.
First epic letdown. Bobby at the hospital. He was there in critical condition and then he thankfully woke up again. We didn't really see the 118 sad or waiting for news, they were there and then they just went back to their life right away. Stupid.
Second epic letdown or as i like to call it disaster. The Bi Buck arc. Oliver was really looking forward to it and then the writers fumbled everything by pairing him up with this Tommy guy who is so unbelievable unsympathetic i really cannot stand this man. Their scence are screaming for skip me, please skip me. I cannot imagine that the Evan Buckley i knew would fall for this type of man. Absolutely unrealistic. The simple fact that we still have to endure this failure of a storyline truly pains me. You have no idea.
And then Eddie and Christopher. I'm sorry, but you don't squeeze a storyline that ends with a child being separated from their parent indefinitely into the last 3 episodes of the season. Especially when it's based on a wacky doppelganger storyline. What awful writing was that? WHERE IS CHRIS' POV? TELL US MORE AT LEAST? He literally has NO problems with Eddie all season, we don't get any of his pov about seeing kim beyond him saying that he thought that was his mother, and we have no sense of what his relationships are like with his grandparents or the rest of his family back in texas. Oh, but they acknowledged how chris is 13, a teenager now, but don't acknowledge that he was 7 when he last lived there and that in a rash moment, while he's upset with his father, he's asking to leave everything he's known for the past six years behind and return somewhere he hasn't lived in almost half his life!! It bothers me so much because they could've given us any insight into chris's relationship to texas - any of the times that chris has been "out of town", maybe he's just in texas, visiting his family, something to actually indicate that closeness to his family and the location. Maybe he's brought up moving to texas before, maybe he's acting out as a teen more beyond talking to more than one girl. But no, let's half-ass it! Ok! Great! I am also now re-remembering that BOBBY'S HOUSE BURNED DOWN BECAUSE OF THE CARTEL and i want to bite something. What a night!
Literally i feel the only things they stuck the landing on this season were buddie's scenes which is telling lmao. But the network doesn't want them. Too bad, because we all want them.
I'm glad the season is over, because i really need a break from this show. The writing, the Tommy (Lou) fans that continues to be so toxic, insulting and awful to the other fans of this show ruined a lot of things for me as a fan. I'm not sure if i want to come back and continue watching the next season. The choices they made this year were more than terrible and i completely lost my trust in the writers and the show itself.
9-1-1: Ghost of a Second Chance (2024)
Really awful episode
In the second season, Eddie didn't want to date because he was still legally married to Shannon, even though they were no longer together, and now he cheated his girlfriend? A girlfriend that should never actually be his girlfriend to begin with, but whatever.
What happened to my Eddie?
Why is his character getting all these awful and terrible storylines? Is it because the fans love him so much?
We wanted to watch Eddie's gay awakening (the foundation was perfectly written for this i was looking so forward to this) but the highups seem to not allow this, instead we have to endure this terrible, awkward Buck and the pilot thing, which isn't working as well.
I'm afraid to write this, but the show has absolutely jumped the shark. I hoped for so much better on ABC, but all i got was something more terrible than FOX.
Thanks for ruining the show.
9-1-1: Buck, Bothered and Bewildered (2024)
The forced Buck and Tommy kiss (and forced thing at all) ruined the episode for me
Despite going into the 100 th episode without any excitement at all thanks to the leaks going around on social media i had fun watching a happy Eddie Diaz, even though i felt like Eddie was very no completely out of character. Anyways Ryan is such a sunshine and i so wish they would use his talent a lot more on this show. He is an amazing actor. Sadly you cannot say this from Oliver or Lou. I don't know if it was the wooden acting of Oliver or Lou or whatever, but the Bi Buck thing fell completely flat for me because of the fact that it came out of nowhere and there was absolutely no chemistry between Buck and Tommy. The acting from both during their scenes was very stiff and kinda awkward. Some scenes were like both of them simply just reading their lines. That was new for 911. And i have to write it, but if i compare Buck and Eddie's chemistry together holy hell what a difference. Therefore the choices made for this episode felt like a slap into the face of every Buck and Eddie fan. Anyway Buck and Tommy getting together after only 4 minutes of total screen time is an absolute turn off for me and as a Buck and Eddie fan i'm personally insulted by this. Sorry 911, but this episode was an epic fail.
9-1-1: Pay It Forward (2023)
You played yourself
Loving the episode because the Buddie fandom did not get what they want, that is nothing new. Sad but not new. Episode did feel completely rushed. All in all I hated it. Bathena ending can be seen as series ending they finally relax but more so knowing we get s7 it is a ominous cliffhanger. Henren being happy in chaos and may get a lil girl is beautiful but completely stupid (some grandma moments for Hens ma in s7 please) because it wasn't addressed at all this season. Happy for Chimney. Eddie/Marisol will be an awfully boring and uninteresting pairing, hope they already are broken up or even better completely forgotten when the show returns and won't survive the homophobics. Hope Ravi gets more screen time s7, Buck hopefully gets less screentime, May returns, and I hope Carla won't be dropping by ever again. Season 6 had nothing but filler episodes, it was a terrible disaster. Hope for no more seasons beyond s7 on ABC because they will even more ruin this once great show.
9-1-1: In Another Life (2023)
Eddie Diaz character deserves better than this
It is so sad to see how awful this show has become over the years. I admit i only watch from time to time and not every single episode because of the fact that Kristen Reidel wants to ruin no in fact she already ruined the one thing that made this show stand out, the Buckley Diaz family. I despise everything about this woman and how she runs this show. I was curious how this episode turned out, but of course it was a huge letdown with actor Ryan Guzman reduced to stand in a dark corner. What was that? He is such a brilliant actor and that woman gives him nothing to work with. A shame. At this point i feel like maybe it's for the better the show ends with this season. I don't know, but i mourn the loss of Buck, Eddie and Christopher. It's hard to watch 911 without their relationship. Also knowing that Taylor Kelly and Lucy Donato are going to return as well later this season is a pretty good reason to stop watching once and for all. I should have known better.
9-1-1: Fear-o-Phobia (2022)
And with tonight's episode the Buck, Lucy and Taylor love triangle has officially started
And i hate every wasted screentime moment of it.
I despise Taylor, i loathed Lucy and i even strongly dislike Buck right now, so congrats Kristen Reidel you really made me no longer like my once comfort show. Last nights episode was the last one i watched as long as this showrunner is in charge. If i want teenage drama i would watch CW shows. I want my beautiful 911 back and what i have watched last night was not it. The ONE AND ONLY exception was Eddie's story. That is something i'm interested in, such a shame they only gave it like two minutes. But sadly not even Ryan Guzman and his top tier acting can make me turn in next week. I'm over this Buck, Lucy thing before it really starts and Kristen Reidel can go to hell. I'm done with this show.
9-1-1: Wrapped in Red (2021)
Eddie Diaz is still in coma and Season 5A was just a bad dream right?
I'm sorry for the rude words, but what happened to this once so amazing show? Everything is all over the place. I admit i stopped watching once i knew the reporter is going to take over the female part of the show and after watching the winter finale i'm glad i just did, because what was that? Not the 911 you shou expect in its fifth Season. I was going to blame Tim Minior for ruining (killing) my beloved show, but then i read someone got promoted to act as co showrunner, because Tim had been busy. That co showrunner isn't doing a great job. And whenever Nadia Abass-Madden is involved in the writing of an episode, the episode sucks. I'm sorry, but it's true. She still doesn't get the 118. But ranting doesn't make it better, it is what it is and the more we cry about certain things and the more we ask for certain things to happen the showrunners and writes are doing the opposite of the fandom's wishes and continue to crush their hopes and dreams because they think they are so smart and woken. I'm leaving with Eddie's words for now.
I'm leaving the 118!
9-1-1: Peer Pressure (2021)
That was a bad episode.
Taylor Kelly is such a no go. I despise that character so much and still cannot believe that they felt the need to bring her back. Been told she returns again in the next episode. Well i'm going to take a break of the show then. I don't waste my time watching something i don't enjoy.
9-1-1: Desperate Measures (2021)
That wasn't it.
Best part of the episode was Eddie ending things with Ana.
9-1-1: Desperate Times (2021)
Damn it Eddie and Buck, you guys are killing me
...this season it feels like FINALLY something huge is happening between those two and i CANNOT wait to be a part of it.
9-1-1: Panic (2021)
Great start of the season
Now please say goodbye to Ana and Taylor and everything will be fine again.
9-1-1: Survivors (2021)
Thank god they didn't kill off Eddie, but wow this season finale was a let down in so many ways.
Eddie's been shot and dying and Maddie has postpartum, but we got time for multiple kissing scenes (that absolutely doesn't belong into this episode at all) while folks are dying? What is wrong with that show? I so have enough of it. First we have to endure Ana, who doesn't even have lines anymore and now we get Buck and Taylor again (after that mess from season 2). Newsflash showrunners i will never accept her character. Why didn't you bring back Ali instead. She was at least likable. Anyways kudos to Eddie and Chris who singlehandedly saved this episode for me and a special bonus for bamf Athena. That woman is da best.
9-1-1: First Responders (2021)
I have reached the point where i just want the Buckley Diaz family back.
I'm not feeling their new love interests and i don't give a single...about them. The show carefully developed the Buckley Diaz family and now they expect us to eat up this mess? No thank you. 3 more episodes and if these episodes don't bring some meaningful change, i'm out!!!
9-1-1: Parenthood (2021)
Except for the first emergency this episode was meh.
And then they had to show a Diaz/Flores family scene. What the... I really hated this.
9-1-1: Breaking Point (2021)
So when are we finally getting our Buck and Eddie romance?
I'm really disappointed that the showrunners decided that now is the time to split up the best relationship of this show (besides Buck and Chris and Bobby and Athena) and give them some annoying love interests. Holy smoke that teacher is so damn awful her only personality is MATHS and that she is looking good. How sad is that and i really never want to think or watch that dating scene ever again. It gave me the absolute creeps.
Anyways i like to point out that while i love the show, it's very entertaining, my main reason for coming back watching each week is Buck and Eddie and their special relationship. I wanna see more of it, wanna see it deepen and so on. It is intriguing and i want more of them.
And now the showrunners are telling me nah you won't get what you want after nearly two years getting invested in their storyline? I am just so disappointed. The winter finale couldn't have had ended any worse.
