Made in Mexico (2018)
Very personal stories
The show in no way is trying be a "cultural or a fake Mexico". This is Mexico as well, if you don't identify with it, then this show is not meant for you and should watch a different show.
I'm waiting for season 2!!
Stranger Things: Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt (2019)
Recycled "see you next season" plot.
I actually liked this third season.
Everything was good until this episode.
I hate how 2nd and 3rd season are more about "the adventures of the kids riding bicycles."
Everything we watched and what the characters have gone through , just to get to the same point? "That thing demon or whatever is still alive", but if that's not enough, why would you make an important character die and actually makes cry about his death, when 1 minute after de credits you get a hint a he is still alive.
That just totally ruined it for me, I liked this season, but I guess we'll have to watch more adventures and fighting again when season 4 arrives.
Apollo 18 (2011)
Most boring movie I've seen
From the first minute this is just boring nonsense. It is another found footage film, similar to the ones where a group of friends go on a trip and something unexpected happens. Well, in this case they happen to go to the moon... Everything is cheap and cheesy, the member who is really brave and starts exploring the area risking his life, the distortion effects, the editing and I could go on and on.
The moon set was good, it looked real. Sadly, they wasted it with a very bad and boring film.
American Horror Story: Chapter 10 (2016)
Heartbreaking Finale..
If there's something I loved from Asylum was the heartbreaking finale it had. Here we have a mother's desperation to keep fighting for her daughter to the point she ended up with Priscila so her daughter may see her and love her back again, had me almost in tears.
Now, this new format was something AHS needed. ''Hotel'' and perhaps ''Freak Show'' a bit are the proof of it. They added a new elements: Suspense and subtle jump scares. Which its something I love and always wanted AHS to have since I find horror a little bit tedious. And here comes blood/gore, honestly I only have one problem with gore scenes and its something I hate from horror films in general: the Ketchup blood. Ridiculous fake blood. Seems like they have no idea blood gets darker with time.
Anyway, I think it was a nice concept poorly executed. The whole show, within a show and within another show a little confusing, nonsense. It totally killed the experience. Especially those guys pretending to be spirit hunters and going to a cursed house just to be popular on Twitter. Give me a break.
I don't know if I want this format back again, and if so at least more organized because this season felt like a mess specially towards the end.
And last but not least, what about the intros AHS used to have? what about the unique characters AHS used to have as well instead of ''normal people''?
Community (2009)
Lovely characters, laugh, great story and enjoyable journey.
I'm not really a comedy guy, I find most comedy show really hard to watch and not funny. I have a lot of favorite shows, but there are only 2 shows that made almost cry and sad because it felt like some part of me die with the end of the show (I know, its ridiculous but its the truth.)
That being said, from the very first episode Community made me laugh a lot, mostly because its not a ''every line its a joke'' type of comedy and it doesn't have fake laughs that only makes me want to face palm.
Like I said I'm not an expert in comedy, but every character might no be original, all characters has a realistic personality, I think that's one of the reason you can get easily attached to this series. We all are like a character and we all want to be like a character from the show. With the same goals, weakness and everyday problems.
In the other hand what this show has gone through its unbelievable, actors leaving, a kind of Steve Jobs situation happened, where if Im not mistaken the creator was fired and rehired, the show got canceled and then got bought and able to do its last season. I can't really imagine how fans would have felt when all of that happened. Sadly I did miss Chevy Chase on the show, Pierce was my favorite character. And Donald Glover leaving I felt made Abed different.
Anyways I just want to say, Yahoo!, thank you very much for picking the show and give us a really beautiful end to this show. Community really deserves the support you gave them. And of course everybody who made this show possible.
And last but not least, this is an example of one of those totally underrated shows which are really good and you just can't understand why. This is not just a comedy show, if you plan to watch it , or you just started watching it, get ready for a journey, for roller-coaster of emotions specially towards the end, and for your new favorite characters. The Walking Dead: The Day Will Come When You Won't Be (2016)
A new beginning in TWD
I rate this episode 9. It was a tremendous heartbreaking, traumatic and I was really nervous and breathless like I've never been with a TV Show. Although I was expecting more focus on Negan while killing, it really had gory scenes. This is a traumatic way to see someone die. And I still can't take that image out of my mind.
My biggest complain is the lack of continuity of the storyline and even dialogue, season 6 finished with only Negan speaking, but in this episode magically we could hear a character's goodbye phrase. Negan also threatened Rick about Carl since season 6 and he didn't do it. Seems like Negan forgot it. And the whole way the showed the so anticipated death scene, I personally felt, they did it to stretch the story and fill 45 min. of television just like TWD has always done before and is annoying.
Other than that, I'm excited to see this new journey Rick's group will have to go through. They are not powerful or invincible people anymore, they have new rules to follow and their confidence has been brought down like never before on the show.
Community: Advanced Introduction to Finality (2013)
Good season
I do agree this season had its flaws. I really enjoyed it, but I felt this season lacked of comedy. There really funny scenes through the season but not as other season. And for the first time some episodes were hard to watch. Characters like Chang were totally forgettable and don't know what what were they thinking by changing him into a totally different person. Totally ruined the Chang dynamic.
On the other hand not everything was bad, the show is still the same. What made me enjoy this season was the fact I feel is one (I haven't watch 5th and 6th) of the most serious seasons. It showed characters in a different way, in a more personal way. We got to see their goals, their past and how that affects them individually and as a group.
American Horror Story: Chapter 1 (2016)
Just what AHS needed.
I felt AHS was under a formula since Season 1 to 5. And this new format is a fresh start. Season 5 was the worst, because of the Jessica Lange dependence the show had develop and again, the formula it was following each season and this season I feel made changes to change all of that. I guess I would've lost interest in AHS if they had continue with the same format. Sarah Paulson was excellent as always, as well as Lily Rabe and Angela Basset. This season has brought moresuspense, which is something I always wanted, since I was tired of the sometimes obviously fake blood of previous seasons. It's great that a show after a long time decides to change and for good. Definitely worth the wait for this season.
