very strong character of kulraj in the movie.good story line a must for whole family.it is not a regular Punjabi film it has a strong message for women of day not to succumb to pressure of any kind.it has world wide appeal specially for India and Asian countries. the actress has done full justice to her role though their is no main male actor in the movie needhi singh herself has taken the task of taking the movie to its logical best. after long time one has come along a good Punjabi movie.directer Dhanda adds that though the film, set in Bhago Majra village in Mohali, is based on real events that happened circa 2011 — like gender violence witnessed by his friend's sister — the dramatised treatment is entirely his own.
