Joseph (2018)
A Dark Thriller
Things will never be the same for Joju George.........
Yes, It's going to be the same hard work that Joju has to put up to keep his new fan following crowd crave the mesmerizing acting done during the movie ''Joseph''. Absolutely passionate, delivering a strong script to the masses.
In the movie Joju George plays a retired police officer who is still invited by the force once a while to conduct a study of a post-crime scene. His ability to understand and find things on the spot that his juniors cannot, sets him apart. However things become serious as he is forced to investigate matters related to his own family members.
This is a movie that will grip you from the beginning to the end.
Dangal (2016)
A Great Movie for Women Empowerment!!
Aamir Khan has always been known to portray films with meaning. This movie , true to its name has done full justice to the family of Mahavir Singh Phogat. Once you begin to watch the movie, you do not wish to go for the interval because the director gets you so engrossed. Towards the later part of the movie, you begin to appreciate the father role played by Aamir Khan and his sacrifices for the family. You also start to think of your own parents and the life they have lived for you :)
I am a supporter of Women Empowerment and the movie makes you realize again that women can still do a lot in this world, Aamir khan has subdued his role to make the girls shine throughout the movie. There lies the real beauty as the film moves to the second half. Also the frustrations to a talent without much financial backup and the lack of support from the Indian government all makes you think again of our political and financial system.
Finally you begin to think why Aamir khan had to go through all the difficulty of working out when actually his role as a wrestler was only for about 2 minutes. But then you realize what a perfectionist he has made himself to portray the past and present and that's what makes Dangal a must watch!!
Salman Khan has stolen some of the glory with Sultan revolving around the same Wrestling theme but Dangal will surely have its own supporters and inspire the true movie watchers.
Kabali (2016)
A well-balanced movie of Thalaivar!!
I usually am not a fan of the mass oriented movies played by Rajnikant in Padayapa, Linga. I admit he has an unique style but that was a little too much back then. But on seeing the Kabali trailer lately, I confirmed to myself that this movie has been adapted and would portray his age and experience perfectly but not compromising his style anyhow. True to the the trailer, P.a Ranjith has beautifully showcased Rajni's style & fights melodiously throughout the movie.
The film does get a bit slow in between by bringing out Kabali's emotions and sadness but seeing things on a larger front makes the whole experience a treat to watch. The first 10 minutes leaves you wanting for more and if you are the introvert, this movie can make you yell out''Thalaivar''. The locations are fantastic and kudos to the casting team in their selection of supporting actors. This time, the credits go to all actors for enriching the movie equally. Watch out also for Dhansika who thrills along with Rajni :) The climax has also ended to a suspense and this makes you waiting for a sequel.
So go and watch the movie for one of Tamil cinema's most acclaimed hero's of all time.
