The Circle (2017)
Quite possibly the worst film ever made.
There isn't anything positive to say about this monstrosity. The plot is awful, the story is dire and don't get me started on the acting and dialogue. The only reason I watched it to the end was out of pure curiosity to see if it could possibly get any worse, and it does.
Greenland (2020)
Huge let down
This movie fails to deliver on all fronts. It was far too long, the acting was questionable, and as it was about the end of the world, you would think there would be a great scene where the earth is decimated, but no it shows nothing even close to that. There was too many irrelevant moments which took up screentime and the use of CGI was very very poor, overall, disappointing from start to finish.
The Evil Down the Street (2019)
Worse than mediocre
Poor story, poor plot & poor acting. I managed 20 mins of this horrendous "movie". Disappointment from the very first scene.
Werewolf Rising (2014)
Is there an award for worst film?
This movie presents nothing that would signal decent in any way. It was written by a child yet at the end is a sexual assault. There isn't a plot, a story, a setting - for goodness sakes the dialogue was worse than that of a blind deaf 90 yr old doing improv. Please watch this film and be prepare to be amazed, amazed at how terrifically awful it is.
Brahms: The Boy II (2020)
Total garbage - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS
Garbage. Absolutely rubbish from start to finish. Watching paint dry is much more entertaining than this.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)
Very lackadaisical
Slow, boring, lacklustre. It's 90% based in a court room and every 90 years it shows a cutaway clip of why they are in court.
Furthermore, the plaintiff swears on the holy bible then reletlessly mocks the priests story of a demon, as if to suggest they are make-belief. If you have a couple hours free, don't watch this.
Hereditary (2018)
This movie had no point.
I'd like to know what was the whole plot and aim of this movie? It had no plot, no story, no path no nothing! Incrediblely awful! The most exciting it got was when the kid was decapitated. That is where it should have ended because litterally nothing happened after that. At all, period.
Us (2019)
Another 2019 let down
Once again a hugely hyped horror movie fails to deliver its promised end product. It never got off the ground for me. The plot seemed thoughtless, almost like it was rushed. It just did not impress me.
It Chapter Two (2019)
Worse than mediocre.
Where to begin! Poor acting, over acting, poor plot, poor execution, needless, unnecessary attempted sexual assault scene, very poor cgi and... oh yeah the F-word is used about 6000 times. One of the worst horror films I've ever seen.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
Better than expected
I expected this to be flat and too weak to keep the franchise going as the first was quite flacid, but it surprised me. I found it especially entertaining and the CGI was excellent. Great cast, good acting and much better than the first.
Ryde (2017)
Anybody who gives this a low score has absolutely no business rating any film, let alone in the horror or thriller genre.
I liked this plot, it keeps you watching. You reach a conclusion you know how its going to end, then it surprises you. Deserves more credit than what the amateur film watchers are giving it. It's dark, its disturbing, its unorthadox. It's a good film.
The Final Wish (2018)
So spectacularly bad, blind people will hate it too.
Literally the single worst film I have ever seen, and I forced myself to watch 1 of the twighlight movies once. The worst thought up, written attempted plot to any film in the history of film. Cheesey, lousy garbage that belongs nowhere.
Wish Upon (2017)
Quite predictable, yet entertaining.
Just seems a clever girl like this one was unable to hoodwink the box on her last wish and say something like "I wish all the wishes ever made on this box were undone and it ceased to ever exist" instead of the lame wish she came out with, completely disregarding its law after the 7th and final wish. Still a good drama thriller I would say. Worth a watch if you've got some time to pass.
Bird Box (2018)
Good, but not great.
Seem to be dull at times, better at others, having mgk in this movie is like putting ketchup in your oatmeal. Tainted it. But bullock wasn't bad, the plot was okay and it was almost like the directors wanted you to think you knew what was going to happen, then changed direction just to surprise you, except it doesn't.
The Possession of Hannah Grace (2018)
So dull I fell asleep
Flat plot, much like a tom cruise film where the main character is a cop, a good cop, a life altering incident has them believing they aren't very good at it anymore. Career change. Starts out weird, an event happens with awful effects and acting and they have a change of heart and realize they should be a cop again. It has the promise of entertainment, but the deliverence of a twighlight film.
Night Shift (2018)
Very good execution of a good thought out plot!
Absolutely surprising given the ratings some amateurs have left, don't trust its overall score, its a slow burner granted, but its a good plot, a good setting and the acting is good too! You can tell everyone involved was dedicated to this film. Definitely worth the watch.
Deliver Us from Evil (2014)
Sean Harris was at his best in this.
Really good watch, if you're not into your conventional possession horrors. It has a dramatic twist that for me, is welcome anytime when evil is vanquished. Sean Harris was something else in this. Worth a watch.
T2 Trainspotting (2017)
Pointless
A film about an escaped convict chasing his ex associate across Scotland. There's no structure there's no story line there's no f****** point in this film. Nothing even remotely interesting happens. Must surely be a low budget film by some drunk has been producer/director who needs to make a quick quid or 2. An insult to the original film. Absolute trash.
