Not sure why this hasn't been pointed out, but this is a crappy remake of the Truth or Dare movie that came out a year earlier. I recommend watching the 2017 one instead of this one. At least that one feels like a horror movie and didn't rely on creepy smiles to pull in viewers. Bad Blumhouse! Bad!

Loved it, but confused

I'm not here to bore you guys with the whole review of the movie like everyone else, but I'm a bit confused. The whole movie hints at Pillsbury not being normal, and maybe even being an alien. As the story goes on, it looks af if he really belongs in the stars. At one point, they run into an alien from one of his stories, which also is able to speak to him telepathically. Although some may say that this is enough confirmation, it really isn't. The story didn't nail the concept enough for a kids movie. Not even a nod to the concept of Pillsbury not being fully human after that run-in.
