6 Underground (2019)
C.I.A. Propaganda Disguised as a Michael Bay Film
I know it seems like just another innocuous, brain-numbing, action movie, but there have been very purposeful attempts lately to have movies/shows skirt aling real-life, global conflicts. Most of these conflicts started by us here in the good ol' U.S.A.. We love to meddle around the world and take other people's stuff. Only, we cant just take their stuff outright. That would look bad. So we need to make it look like we're in other countries because we care about the people there and we're saving them from a brutal dictator. In reality we're just there to take their resources and allow a small few to profit grossly from it, but again, we cant say that. This movie and the last season of Jack Ryan? Propaganda crap. But at least Ryan Reynolds was funny .Two stars.

Family dinner scenes never disappoint
Watching Logan Roy grimace and sweat as he tried to maintain composure while his family slowly devolved into their usual selves was hilarious, painful and too familiar, lol. I loved this episode and it really did a great job exposing the weaknesses of all the characters. Connor's out-of-touch perspectives. Tom's inability to not fall into the role of the whipping boy. Kendall's substance abuse issues. Roman's inability to connect and desire to keep people at an emotional distance. Shiv's discomfort of wanting the big seat but not sure if she's ready for the big seat. Marcia's yearning to be appreciated was new. All playing out over a meal while trying to pretend to be civilized....family.
