Resisting Roots (2022)
It's like a slightly raunchy Hallmark movie.
I'm a secret fan of the cheesey Hallmark movies, something about the unrealistic romance that I enjoy. This movie definitely fits into that category. I thougt the leads did a pretty good job, the story was the predictable romantic cheddar that one who chose to watch this would expect. I really enjoyed that some characters swore and that there were some fairly raunchy sexual moments that are more realistic even if they seemed to progress faster then they likely would in real life. It's kind of nice to see a Hallmark type movie that isn't so clean cut.
One thing that really bothered me though is trying to pass the Mustang off as a Shelby. Why try to fake something that was so insignificant?

Absolute garbage
I typically get some sort of enjoyment out of these cheesey teen romantic dramas but this movie was absolute garbage. Funny how a movie about time travel doesn't to know how to manage telling a story in time. Everything seemed rushed or like so much was left of the cutting room floor. And the Gargoyle! What was the point of the gargoyle that spots water. For such a rare being you think their importance would be greater. Could have just had a ghost fulfil the same plot advances and then at least it's already in the believable realm of what the first movie established.
I truely feel I wasted my time with this one.
