This is a thriller.

It was a pleasure to watch to Marco Giallini. He is a great actor with the face of a big Italian man. Hope to see him more. Yes, I really liked the cast. The film goes straight ahead. It is just a classic thriller story. And it is a fantastic film. You see lots of interesting camera angles, like I just said, a nice cast and a powerful atmosphere. Why didn't I hear about this director, Alex Infascelli, before? For sure, you gotta like thriller, this is not kind of big philosophy, this is creating a thriller atmosphere and enjoying every minute. Many young directors loose themselves in trying to be something different, but this director has done a good job and that's it. I wished there were more movies with that kind of clear genre dedication.

Oh my god! After watching that much average stuff I cannot believe I found this DVD in their middle. It is absolutely another level. I just saw it and still feel this special crawling after a good horror film… Might be some kind of an underestimated director that wanted to show that he has got power, and he showed. It is sort of an awesome crime and mystery driven horror production. Also if the story is not always logical or explained, you get this fascinating feeling when a film and a story go step by step in a right felt way. You get to think that the whole film is really near to you. You cannot avoid that it ends, but if there is nobody left alive… Charming that it's from Italy.

Enthusiastic and courageous

I have just read a comic about this film (is that normal that people do comics for a film? Isn't it the other way normally?) and watched the faked documentary at Pesaro festival. It was quite a bit a hadn't seen anything like that. In the tradition of "Blairwitch Project" you see a documentary that is at least in it's main theme, the mysterious happenings in the Po Delta, a fake. But you also knew that in Blairwitch. Once you accept this you enter a film full of atmosphere and passion for the stories and the spirit of the greatest author of horror stories that ever existed. In the end the focus goes from the research more to the tensions in the documentary team, caused by all these strange and frightening things they explored. A wonderful idea and a great movie.
