I guess $12 Million was enough to convince Keanu to be part of this... even if he does give most of it away.

I was a bit apprehensive about this installment, as Yellowstone is one of the better stories out there right now.

After having viewed the first 2 episodes, I can say this is every bit as good as Yellowstone.

After 2 hours though, I had a creeping suspicion that the writers might be setting the viewers up for some kind of "conservative sabotage".

It's no secret that Yellowstone has some very strong traditional conservative themes running through it... and with what's going on in todays "woke" world, I'll be VERY surprised if there isn't pressure or even overt willingness to take this new "prequel" and somehow tweak it to show traditional conservatism in some kind of unfavorable light.

If you viewed the first 2 episodes of this, then you may have caught on to a bit of this... particularly with respect to the children... at one point the wife was arguing with her hubby about treating their daughter "like a man" showing her how to cowboy, because in his words "well, there aren't enough real men around so..." REALLY??? In 1883????

Please, for the love of God, don't ruin a great story with woke BS. It's not true to history, and trying to be revisionist just makes you look stupid.

I watch this movie probably once every year or two. It's just good old fashioned fun, and you can't have enough of that these days!

Justin Timberlake stars, as "Palmer" yet he's not even listed in the cast? What's up with that?

... the heck did i just watch?! That was totally crazy. Imagine San Andreas with Dwayne Johnson, but on a pound of steroids. This was WAY over the top. If you go in expecting a completely ridiculous but VERY well done film, it's an easy 7. If you expect Oscar performances, it's a 3. I literally spat out my drink, TWICE!

Season 1 was decent. I give that a 7. Season 2 is a very different story. Somehow "Punisher" became synonymous with "Woke feminist dingaling".

If you want to watch something with a native theme, go check out Trickster. That was very well done. This is crap.

Netflix is only going to "produce" more of this kind of progressive nonsense now that the Obamas have their hooks in them. This show is terrible. TERRIBLE. Much like "The Wilds". Believe all the bad reviews here. They're spot on.

People are not getting this is purposeful tongue-in-cheek-horror. Much like Iron Sky and Iron Sky:The Coming Race. (although those are more sci-fi/comedy) It's supposed to be ridiculous, and it is!

There are two versions. This American version, and the original British version released in 2013. I'll simply say, if you want the classic Hollywood-ized bubble gum version, watch the American version. If you want a seriously gritty, realistic, utterly enthralling, disturbing on more than one level version - watch the original. I don't give 10's, but the original is darn close.
