I resisted watching this for quite a while, but due to writers and actors strikes, was looking for something to grab my attention. Tehran perfectly fits the bill. Wow! Did not see this one coming. Brilliant script, excellent acting, on point storyline, and didn't just automatically make the good guys win all the time.

This was so exciting that I finished the first season in 2 evenings and cant wait to start season 2. This is the first 10 I have given in a very very long time. I dont usually enjoy subtitles but they were at a speed easy to read and still watch the movie.

I read season 3 is coming up and I for one am extremely grateful.

What's with all the negative reviews. First of all, Idris Elba was superb and worth watching just for him. But it was an exciting thriller. Hey its TV entertainment. It is not a docu series. Was it far fetched? Yes. Was it gripping? Totally. The cast were top notch and I must say I'm glad not to be flying anywhere in the near future!

I binged this in 2 evenings and enjoyed every minute. The script was well written. The air traffic control lady was so good. I only hope there are such characters in the ATC.

If you want an exciting good action drama, this is for you. People are too negative and I suspect they are trolls.

The Gold is just brilliant 👏. First the script is so well written with wonderful little quips thrown out now and then. Hugh Bonne illegal, who I adored in Downton Abbey, shows his immense acting skills here. The two main villains are perfectly slimy and really make their story so believable.

The Plot, which is a true story, is truly gripping. I watched first 3 episodes tonight and only stopped as I needed some sleep. Can't wait to see how it ends tomorrow.

Do not miss this gem of a true crime story.

Thanks to the BBC for this one.

I fear all the hateful reviews just go to prove their story ! There is so much hatred, jealous, racist bias out there, I can only admire their courage in leaving.

This was an excellent documentary by Netflix which they are very good at. It was a bit like watching the Crown but with real people. I watched all three in one sitting as an escape from the world Cup but found myself enjoying seeing their side of things. It is a true love story. And so far, they have not dropped any major bombshells.

Instead of writing mean incorrect reviews...here's a thought - don't watch. You know the subject so why watch unless you are just mean natured.

I do not understand the negative reviews. If only for the superb acting, it is worth watching. But the story line, while somewhat implausible, kept me glued to the TV for all four episodes in one evening. Trying to figure out the connection between the characters kept me guessing.

I am a huge fan of Stanley Tucci and this was a master class.

Kudos to the writer. He must have a twisted mind! Excellent work, great script, wonderful supporting cast, in particular the big guy in the next cell to Tucci. His character was excellent and he played it well. If you like a good dark mystery, watch this.

I only watched this as I am a huge Nicola Walker fan, but good grief! Why? Why did they do this. I've seen 3 episodes and I can't face any more. Who wrote this? And please don't let them write any more. Save yourself. Do not bother.

Maybe its just my age, but did no one see the movie Sliding Doors. British movie that this is (poorly) copying. Do yourselves a favour...miss this and see Sliding Doors instead. This is a cheap copy.

Ignore the bad reviews or you will miss a great, quirky, excellent bit of TV. Nicola Walker is brilliant. Enjoyed watching her since her days in Spooks and was so upset that they killed her off in Unforgotten.

This is so good...hoping for season 2.

I love Jude Law so was looking forward to this. I kept waiting for a reason to watch this but nothing happened. Save yourself. Its too late for me. I have been bored to death.....

I am not usually a Neil Patrick Harris fan. BUT he has changed my mind. This show is great. I binged the first 5 in one session. The script is witty and clever without being over the top. It reLly is like having the original Sex & The City back. TV needed something like this. Love it.

I am a huge James Nesbitt fan so was really looking forward to this. Was so disappointed. The story was weak, the script boring and I really tried to finish the series but gave up in the middle of Episode 5. Just decided I do not wish to be bored to death.

I almost didn't watch this as I was not sure about another medical drama. I would have missed the best show in a long time. Wishaw is amazing and he delivers the punchlines as he delivers the babies...with smooth efficiency. Do not miss this gem.

Wow. How to butcher a once brilliant series. It cannot be just because Damien Lewis left as his wife passed away. The writing and so called plots are abysmal. I've struggled to watch as far as Season 6.56 but I'm done. This is pathetic and sad as it used to be one of the best shows on TV. No longer. Don't bother.

This is the only the second time I have given a 10. But this was brilliant. The actors are wonderful, the plot full of twists and drama. And when its funny, it is such clever dry humour. A must see. A rare gem. Cannot wait for season 2.

I didnt know the story. The acting by Colin Firth and Tony Collett is brilliant. What an incredible story. So many twists and lies. Definitely worth the watch.

I have not read the book so cannot compare. But this is a joy to watch. The conversations are so real, you forget they are acting. Its like a piece art coming together on a fine canvass. Loved it.

This is perhaps Kenneth Branagh's best film yet. Perfect casting. Loved the brilliant young boy. Jamie Dornan showed what he's made of and of course Judy Dench is...Judy Dench! Love her. Shot in B&W with fantastic background music. I was sorry when it ended. Don't miss this one. Oscar for sure.

You tried to tell us. All the poor reviews. But I still started to watch. Will not do that again. This is so poor. Starts off with one story then they seem to run out of ideas that they make a completely illogical plot change that is totally unrealistic. Gave up after 3.5 episodes. Save yourselves 😉

I do not understand all the negative comments here. Maybe if you work for a bomb squad this is not realistic but I thought right from the very first episode, this was great action tv. I did suspect who the person was but then, you are not sure. Great actors, real fast pace drama. Loved it.

I love Martin but couldn't understand a word he was saying. The accent may well be brilliant but unless you have subtitles, its hard to follow. Such a pity.

Steve Martin is perfection in this (especially in the last episode).. I laughed so much. All the famous people who kept popping up was a brilliant touch. Dont miss this one. Just loved it 😹🤣😆

How can there be spoilers. Is there anyone alive over the age of 18 who does not know this story? Talk about flogging a dead horse. This is total rubbish. I am giving up mid 2nd episode . If you have a brain don't waste your time. Bad acting, bad script, just bad.

I only watched it all as Melissa Mccarthy was spectacular but this was the most boring waste of time. Watch something else. Anything else!
