Padmaavat (2018)
Great Cinematography and Dialogue
This movie more than lives up to the hype. I love indian history, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali depicts Rani Padvamati"s story in a beautiful way. The cinematography, screenplay, directing, music and choreography, was great. This was a movie well made, worth every penny. The lead characters played their roles well, athough I didn't really get which emotions the actress that played "Nagmati" was trying to portray each time. It was obvious that great attention was paid to every detail.
The Bold Type (2017)
The show centers on three friend, their work and relationships and how they face challenges.
I really did not have an expectation when I started watching the show, all I knew was that it is about three friends. The show touches on a lot of issues, an Islamic lesbian is one, relationships and work life. As a millennial it is nice to watch a show about other young millennial in the work force who are crushing it. Compared to the stereotypical mean boss Jacqueline as the boss is nice, kinda like a big sister. The girls exemplify living boldly, with each episode they get bolder. The music for each episode was spot-on, it's always the right music for the right scene. Great cast.
