Men in Black: International (2019)
Fun-filled ride
This was entertaining. Not overtly deep, but that's men in black.
Another Gay Movie (2006)
Awful
As an Asian gay male viewer I have to say that there were some things that were definitely wrong with the movie.
A. Why put stereotypical Asians with awful bad accents in the movie ? As a joke ? It's obviously contrived, and perpetuates stereotypes of Asian-Americans. There's also a retarted bedroom scene where a major character wears a kimono and immediately starts taking incredibly small steps.
B. The make-up and hair styles of one of the main characters looked like they were trying to be edgey even though it failed miserably. The make-up comes across as a drag queen who obviously was stuck in the 90's raver culture. If they wanted that major character to be the femmy fashionista. Put the character in some gucci / prada / miu miu apparell and call it a day.
C. The typical latino character who barely gets any action. On-top of that, he's also a stripper. I'm sure he was put in for the token black guy.
Honestly. The production value of the movie is half-decent. I think the part where the film failed miserably was in the actors (who don't even look like high-school students), and the script. The one-liners weren't funny. The twists to the plot were obvious and contrite.
I just find this movie to be repulsive, self-hating, and racist.
If the movie was going to make fun of minorities, women, blind girlfriends, fat people, crazy butch lesbians, femmy boys, gay top's that are secretly bottoms, incest, sex-toys, over-sized dildo's, water sports, scat, poppers, leather, sex with Richard Hatch and an Asian girl (that can barely speak English), well they failed miserably. It's not like South Park. Watch another movie.
The only great thing about the movie was its title.
The super butch lesbian character definitely had her slight moments.
