Doug Matthews - Hero or Zero!?

I was like who is this arrogant fool within the first 5 minutes, but as the episodes went on you started to appreciate his humour, confidence and that he actually added value to a somewhat drawn out yet interesting documentary. Love him or hate him, he was the catalyst alongside Devereaux.

"Through hardships to the stars". The Hubble Telescope a technological masterpiece which opens your eyes and mind to how truly small we are and how little we know about the cosmos. The pictures this machine sent back were absolutely astounding. Iconic images of galaxies, the birth of stars to mysterious black holes. Documentaries like this will never fail to enlighten me. Thanks to the brave pioneering men & women who make such exploration possible.

Brian Cox is the David Attenborough of Space!

Epic! What a journey! We've learned so much in such a short period of time. I keep thinking back to my time in secondary school learning about the solar system and what we knew then compared to now is absolutely mind blowing! The production, music, editing and special effects really make you feel you're there. But Brian Cox is the star of the show, his delivery and narration is 10/10. If you like Planet Earth but are longing for something a little more extraterrestrial, look no further. The Planets will not disappoint.
